This was before she got pulled out, she double headed with 152 as her last few runs before being put into storage, until she's done with her rebuild, 152 is the main attraction for the railroad now
I agree it would be good to see her back in your home state. But where in Colorado, the Durango and Silverton or the Cumbres and Toltec? Because I'm leaning more towards the Durango and Silverton cents the C&TS already has a mudhen
This Denver and rio grande K-27 was built in 1903 for the D&RGW by Baldwin. It served the Rio Grande until being retired in the 1960’s and taken to the Huckleberry railroad. 464 was restored and has been running on the Huckleberry railroad ever since.

Do you by chance have gopro footage from the coal doors of the engine crew?
Nope
464 is a relative of 463?
They are both Rio Grande, both K27 class Mikados.

@@shanewalters2565 hope 152 doesn't have trouble while 464 is out for the next few years
@@atsfevan0242 what ever they do i hope they dont add a automatic bell ringer
@@allischalmersfanwd4566 how is that bad it's just a bell
@@atsfevan0242 no automatic bell ringers are not good. takes away form the engine. needs to stay manual.

The whistle sounds nothing like her sister, 463’s
It's an SP 6 chime
@@DynamoProductions-trains im pretty sure this one in the vid is a nathan 6 chime. They do also own a sp 6 chime and they sound similar
@@allischalmersfanwd4566
It’s a MD Whistle welded bell SP 6.
I’m the engineer in the video.
The whistle is Long Long Short Long for a crossing. Not Long Long
They can get creative with quilling
Long, long, long, long is becoming the new crossing standard since you have to sound the horn while on the crossing.
i can probably run faster than that
Can you do it for 4 miles with that many passenger cars?
