The reason your game crashes is Mac. Use a PC. I have a craptop but it runs immersive portals fine and has never once crashed. You could even play on PC and record from a capture card on to your mac to edit so you could run minecraft on a weak as laptop.

@@MelonDoggo The mac loading icon is seen in some of his videos when it crashes (usually he cuts the loading out). Mods, especially ones with lots of interactions with APIs and other mods often have compatibility issues, and often especially on mac.

@@robomobius I'm looking at the github for Immersive Portals, and I'm not seeing anything that could be blamed on macOS here, at least with regard to crashing.
I find it more likely that he's running out of memory, using the wrong java version, etc.
