Yea i was the one who came up with it when i was working at ICON like 4 years ago. Pretty happy with how its turning out. Used the tesla patents and chevy volt design book as reference.
Good questions! The VCU200 and VCU300 support 110V Level I and 220V Level II charging currently. We aren't sure about range but the crew at @StealthEV can answer that for you! Matt does mention a 200-mile cruise in the video, so safe to say it will cover that range.
This to me is the most exciting future, remembering how cool the styling of the past was, but moving the tech forward to meet the needs of the future. This car has a vibe, soul, and a real history that is interesting. Super idea to keep these cool old rides and make them still enjoyable, usable and important. Nice work on this video and car. Very inspiring.
Very slick approach to the thermal management! Kudos!

Great video! Sounds like max range is 200 miles? What charging network(s) are your cars compatible with?

What are you using to facilitate CHAdeMO charging? I'm not aware that AEM has level 3 charging capability yet.
Wao Nice swap. What a beautiful car 😍
Such an amazing car and well executed build. So good!
This was terrific.
GENIUS ! ! ! ! ! !
I have a '67 Chevy van 90 that needs this fine conversation instead of the 230 ci oven between the front seats. How much weight would it add ?
