We you show the grocery store in the Dramatic Play area I was thinking the same. What a neat idea I never thought about incorporating a grocery store in the Dramatic play center as part of a Transportation Theme!
How do you keep the kiddies from putting the sand into the water tray and are the kiddies allowed to move the puzzles etc to different areas in the classroom?
Debbie Giese - When we have both a sand table and a water table, they are at opposite ends of the classroom so we don’t have an issue with them mixing the 2 together. As for materials staying in their designated centers, this age group loves to move things around. Some things we are firm about staying in their designated places, such as paint and playdough.

What brand is that water table? I'm looking for the same one. Realize it's not sold anymore but hoping I can find a used one. Knowing the brand may help me find it.

Thank you!

Roc P Fit - It just sort of happened that way after thinking about how much the children would enjoy it.
It definitely could be incorporated by teaching the children how the trucks deliver the food to the grocery store!
