    So Billie let the Overseers invade their base in hopes they’d kill Daud? That seems really stupid. Daud would probably be the last one to die, so even if she got her throne there’d be virtually no one left to lord over.

      I think the plan was for the overseers to do a massive frontal attack which Daud would lead the defense of. While he and his men are focused on that, Delilah and Billy would strike against Daud when an opportune moment presented itself.
      But instead, overseer Hume used a smaller force to attack early and quickly catch the assassins off guard. He successfully killed/captured many of them, but not all and now his small force lost the element of surprise and was vulnerable to Daud. Neither Billy nor Delilah were in opportune places to kill Daud because of the early attack.

    I think high chaos fits the first dlc best, showing us just how influential Delilah really is, how powerful and terrifying Daud is (by extension showing us Corvo's strength), and setting the tone of fear behind Daud's actions in his attempts to prevent his end, not to mention give him a reason to beat Delilah before trying to trap her to oblivion, instead of just executing her.

    My first play-through I had to fight her (since I murdered half of Dunwall up to that point). I felt a similar betrayal as when Samuel shot off that flare, but I also couldn't blame her lol. It all made sense. I couldn't blame her for betraying me, so I let her go.

    you can get a different ending if at the high chaos you spare Billie with a sleeping dart, but the dialogue is the same as if you killed her

    You can spare her after you beat her but i don't know there is a different dialog then

      There isn't. You're the only one who knows that was a sleep dart, so the Outsider is more interested on how you live up to your reputation as the Knife of Dunwall, than what happens to her.

    0:20 Does it mean that if Daud reaches level 2 of Shadow Kill, his assassins will also reach the same level?

    When I told them to kill, I didn’t think they’d kill the ones already captured.

    I got low chaos despite killing many people, just sparing a few bosses, and I chose to kill her. I think this is a fitting ending and progression, though the high chaos one also makes sense. I would've thought that for high chaos you might actually be killed or overthrown, but I suppose the main storyline needs to fit as well. Very interesting in either case and such an excellent game. Thanks for sharing!

    I like the different routes you can take with this, and how all of the endings can fit Daud as a character depending on how you interpret him. With his journal and narration about the empress, I interpreted it as him really thinking through his actions, the assassination having actually made him think and changed him. Most of his jobs have consequences of course, but none more devastating for the empire as that, and his journal shows in a way he blames himself for it. That’s why I chose low chaos, and spares Billie when she fessed up to it and showed remorse.

    However, despite playing high chaos in the dlc, I follow specific conditions to make it as nuanced as possible:
    -I blow up the slaughterhouse and murder everyone on sight so they won't stay in the way of the innocent workers;
    -I murder all Hatters in the area, along with a few guards, so they won't figure Daud's connection to the girl that hires us, and Timsh's fall, ensuring me a potential alliance with the girl and the noble who presents us with the non-lethal option;
    -I kill some Overseers, knock out those whose heads are protected, spare Hume, and order the capture of the rest, merely to have a bargaining chip, in case the remaining Overseers Hume left behind get any ideas;
    -I knock out Lurk, but I suspect I'm the only one who knows that was a sleep dart.
    I was not selfless at all. The chaos I caused was to solidify my relationship with my employers, tie up lose ends, and increase my own powers. I am the Knife of Dunwall after all. Only a monster can, hopefully, survive another. Or so Daud thought, before Billie crossed him.

    For those who know "Kingdom Hearts", besides Roxas, who else would the Outsider find interesting ? Riku, Repliku or both ? My money's on Repliku.
    You see, Corvo is torn between his bloodlust and his commitment to Emily and Jessamine. Riku is fully commited to his friends, so how he uses his power is quite predictable. Bad, good, his mindset is clear. No fun there.
    And Roxas, in spite of his love, had a moment of weakness after Xion's death, feeling tempted to disrespect her last wishes in order to get Kingdom Hearts for himself. His spirit intact, who knows who or what he fights for.

      Yeah if you're already high-chaos before that point, she decides to go through with her betrayal and you have to fight.
      High-chaos endings are always the worst for the city at large, but they also are usually more fun as missions than the low-chaos routes.
      If you've only played low-chaos, just say "screw it" and just load up on combat powers during a playthrough. Windblast is surprisingly useful and hilarious in Dishonored 1.
