On this special adventure, we decided to explore Nusa Penida, one of the most beautiful Indonesian islands. We started our journey from the famous town of Ubud, where we took a speedboat to reach this picturesque island.
We chose to stay in a beautiful hotel for only 3 days for $100, breakfast included, Agung View Villa, which is a cozy bungalow located on a hill overlooking the sea. It was ideally located near Toyapakeh, a small Muslim village in the middle of a predominantly Hindu island.
After checking in and enjoying the beauty and tranquility of the hotel, we set off to explore the village and experience its unique atmosphere. We met the locals, tasted their traditional dishes and immersed ourselves in the daily life of this distinctive village that preserves its traditions and culture in the middle of the island.
