Great job on this video dude! The only thing I noticed when learning your way and then listening back to the song is that it sounds like he does that pseudo arpeggiating with the pick. It sounds to percussive to be fingers and this would make the hybrid-picking in this part a lot easier. I found that it gave me a more even tone than starting the arpeggiating with my pick and then playing the rest of the notes with my fingers. Thanks you for putting this together dude!
Oh absolutely, I am confident that this is played with a pick in hand, hybrid style. That's how they write and play basically everything. I am just not very good at doing that, and I wanted to be as solid as possible when playing the examples in the video. That's the only reason I fingerpicked :)
Hi bro loving your channel so far, hey i've been wanting to get a cheap squier strat as a back up for my fender and yours sounds and looks great, can you tell me which model is that? Bullet, affinity, California etc? Thanks in advance and thanks for all your amazing work and tutorials
Ah shit. This was actually a friend's I was borrowing, I do not have it in my possession anymore unfortunately. But I believe it came in one of those guitar/amp starter packs that Fender does.
god tutorial mannn, really thanks 💕💕💕
yess thank you for this! My favorite part of the record
So good mate. Your finger picking style is impeccable. I don’t miss the pick attack here at all. Great job !
