We're used to your content by now, so it often goes unnoticed how well you articulate yourself and how well you present each book that's in front of you. Thank you.
The fact that Huddleston did all the art in this is spectacular. Tons of abstract linework that reminds me of Sienkiewicz or Ashley Wood, but then he switches to painting, and then to half tones and crackles of classic comic books. This is just phenomenal from an art standpoint. However, the story was good but not something I would say comes close to Hickman's best. It's closer to Pax Romana than it is to East of West, but I still had a good time reading it. I like world-building, but this book was overly excessive in this regard and it came at the cost of story/character arcs.
This looks so good...I actually bought this at my local shop on a whim and I guess I will be reading this next. Some of the art reminds me of Ashley Wood on Automatic Kafka.
This is a fantastic series. I got these in single issues and the delay for the last issue killed me. Waiting for this to arrive so I can reread it in oversized format.
Didn't really care about this book until I watched an overview several days ago. Hickman is usually great as well, I'm happy to be getting a copy instead of missing out completely!
I was lost too. Quite lost. The artwork kept me going though. All in all the entire experience was just..... cool. Typically, we combine art and prose to judge the work. This is the first time that I also factored graphic design, white space, and page layout as equally important. The story was above average. I liked it. Loved the characters. But more than anything I just enjoyed thumbing through it several times after I was finished. It’s just cool
I think there will definitely be a continuation to the story it's even mentioned at the end a little bit. Loved the artwork. Just a small tad bit f info the name of one of our Protagonist comes from an Indian origin Neha( pronounced as "Nay-ha"). I had no idea how Mike can change his art style so so much.
It was the art that made me pre order this book months back,the story is great too. There will be more of this,and hopefully another over sized hard cover like this for it.
I like it, just because of the art. I have the individual issues and the Omnibus. This reminds me a lot of house of x. I feel like this is the cosmic world building he wanted to do with Marvel.
I have this in single issues and as I'm fairly new to the comics it was my first Hickman and I was little lost but it all made sense after all (and I'm cool with that approach). If I was nitpicking I would say that finale was little rushed but not the less good read

The guest list this year is really incredible - Chris Claremont, Roy Thomas, John Romita Jr, Steranko, Hickman, Mike Grell, Rick Leonardi, Jim Starlin, Klaus Janson, Charles Vess, Chris Bachalo - that's just a few of my favorites but there are many more. Would love to see you record an episode at the con, or just visit with the family, it is really one of the best conventions in the country and centered on comics creators. Cheers!

Hickman's name and one look at the internal artwork were at it took to sell me on this; so glad I picked it up
