Can he? I mean.. when you listen to him.. LOL 'When I was level Twenty-two hundred.' 'I'm married to the persons dad who literally started this whole thing' You're married to their dad, are you ? I'm not even 5 minutes into the video lmfao .. so are you sure he's able to tell a story? I would argue getting things correct (as we know what he was meant to say) would be a big part of telling a story.. you know?
WoW and Arena could stand to have a lot more talks like this. Particularly the tournament memories, us older cats remember all of those very fondly. That player POV is something we're all interested in. I'm hoping Dmachine's podcast or someone will bring that together.
I would love that.. I enjoyed asmons tbc and wotlk stories from not long ago, I just love hearing of those old glory days of retail. The characters, the items, the locations, the interactions and drama, it’s all so glorious.
I'm 31 now and if there's something I learned is that going out of your comfort zone will always give you something nice in return. You went to Germany which scared you but you started to meet all the pro's and. Go out of your comfort zone and get rewarded for it. What a wholesome story!
i wish more people would share their stories like this, it's so interresting heating about other peoples journies and how they ended up where they are, amazing stories
In all honesty WoW and gaming, in general, wouldn't have been such a fond memory without our dads telling us not to play it so it was 100x more enjoyable when you did get to play it. My dad only let me play during the summer holidays and if I got good grades and I had to take up martial arts. Getting to play itself was a privilege. That kind of foundation is missing in kids these days.
As much as I hated him back then I thank him today. I had to do homework and chores to be able to play 30 minutes or 1 hour.. while my sister watched tv 24/7 :D
@@jensa91 haha yeah I'm grateful too. I quit gaming entirely a few years back to focus on my career but if I have kids I'll raise them the same way lol so they cherish the good times
I started playing wow in 8th grade when my friend told me about a new game called Warcraft 3. I went to the GameStop and told the guy behind the counter I wanted Warcraft. He sent me home with World of Warcraft. The next day my friend asked if I had gotten Warcraft 3 and I told him I got World of Warcraft instead and there is no way I'm going to get Warcraft 3. That was when Molten Core was the only raid. Years later I got my first Gladiator title in s3 at around 15 years old as a warlock with a resto druid named Arastalon from Australia. His ping was always really bad but we made it work some how. The good days
Dude this was awesome! I usually have problem watching even 8 minute video it's too much but I'm over here 30 minutes in and I'm locked in with focus :D epic story bro
first time i played wow was when i was 8 in 2005 and i made a warlock at my friends house whose older brother played and I was awestruck. i lvled him to lv 8 on my friends older brothers account and have been hooked on mmo's ever since. I don't play wow anymore unfortunately but the game will forever have a special place in my heart and the nostalgia of making that first character in an rpg is unforgettable
in 2007 i got money for my birthday and bought classic + tbc with shitty internet i could play only to 2 p.m. after this i had 3k ping. i've been playing on my rogue since then. Too bad i lost old boxes with discs, but i saved guide book with serial number on it, i'll never throw it away, this is my memory.
Dude.. Kollektiv was the reason I made a Shaman back in WotLK. He was a fkn GOD at resto sham. He was always so helpful to me when I'd ask him questions about anythign involving the class/comps/scenarios for arena. Mad respect for him being as kind as he was to me. He had no reason at all to help a shit player who was a clicker(not anymore LOL), but he did regardless. Always gave me helpful tips that made me improve like crazy. Then I learned a lot more once I was watching Cdew streams. Everything Kollektiv told me about I could never picture and so I sort of understood but not really. Once I saw Cdew, all that information Kollektiv gave me came back and just made sense. Wow. Anyway, thanks for reminding me of Kollektiv, Cdew! Great times!!
The fucking golden era man. Hycerz, Twixz, Another, Reckful, Ven, Azael, Kollectiv, pookz, Woundman, Numberone etc 💜 I’d love to hear you talk about some of the best players at each class and comp. Would be great
ngl bro, spencer is hella messed up for lvling to 22 and never telling you about rested xp or your talent tree XD, it really do be ya own family. Awesome vid boss, I show these types of vids to friends that don't play and then they always say "hmmm, kinda wanna try it out". /salute
In a weird way its like the dad provided this career(obv not really) so you can take care of his daughter , this some universe shit if i've ever seen it lmao. Without his words none of this exists. Wild.
my buddy said youd be stoned all the time in cata on stream what was your most difficult time trying to do wow for a living? were you ever in a situation where you felt like you had to quit the game ever
this guy can tell a story
FOR REAL
