I purchased a new 1825 e tractor this year with front end loader, backhoe, bushhog, box blade, with 2,000 lbs forks. All quick attach. It was $34,000 with all that. I've put 30 hours on it and it's a beast for real. Backhoe is a must. I've used all attachments and backhoe. Flawless and powerful. Love this rig..!🤝
Just ordered my 1825e tractor, loader, backhoe with 3rd function. have been doing all my property maintenance and farmette work without a tractor for 10 years (six acres). Finally did the deal with my local dealer with the intention of this machine being my first and last tractor at age 38. My grandpa's massey is an old 245 that is still going strong, so I am happy to carry on the family tradition with massey ferguson.

Not the Entire Drive Train. But all the castings are Cast Iron that hold and house the internal parts which most are created from steel. We have yet to work on either Hydrostat or Gear Transmission so can't answer that questions which is better. Gear allows ease of returning back to same speed quickly. Hydro allows the ease of variability of speeds. We sell both so it's more your choice which you prefer.
Shuttle shift is best for long term life of the machine. The only reason to get a hydrostatic transmission is if you plan to use loader and forks all the time for loading and moving things all the time. If you plan to use for all the things a shuttle shift will be better in the long run!
Actually Shuttle Transmissions have many more moving parts and components that can fail. We have yet to work on either so it's more they buyers choice. I understand your thoughts but hydros are very simple design system with less components. In a Massey Ferguson I would not worry with either transmission design,
1825E Synchroshuttle only has Suction Screen Filter that screws into the Left Side of Rear End Housing. Hydro has Suction Screen and Screw on Filter in same local. All else fails both are shown in the operators manual under maintenance section
Same HP as a GC1725 but I am assuming more torque and the added weight of larger chassis and more powerful hydraulics means this will do a butt load more work?
Massey Ferguson offers Three 25 HP Models the GC1725M on SubCompact Chassis, 1526 in Mid Compact Chassis and the 1825E on Full Compact Chassis to fit owners needs and size requirements. We did a video that has the previous models but many of the features are still the same. th-cam.com/video/uLNvIL8GoQ4/w-d-xo.html
Yes the 1825E replaced the 1726E. Feature ISEKI Premium Engine and Power Train. ISEKI has been Massey's Compact Tractor Partner since 1991 and with the 1800 Series are back to ISEKI Engines.
Massey Ferguson GC1725MB is a Tractor, Loader Backhoe model in 25 Engine HP, this is SubCompact Model. I was looking at Kubota but I found the Massey Furguson has a gear drive transmission which i feel is more suitible for my tasks and tractors in general should have a gear drive transmission and it has a clutch and apears to have a bucket level guage also.
Massey Ferguson offers the Choice of SynchroShuttle Gear or Hydrostat Transmission in the 1800E Series. Gear Transmissions rob less engine HP so you have more PTO HP for larger implements or will not bog down as easily too.

So is the entire driveline cast iron? I’m not familiar with the engine manufacturer. Is it reputable?
