    That's interesting that the westbound route you took (Boston-NYC) went I90-84-684-87 into NYC, but this way took the 95 to start. My last bus trip to Boston, I went this way on Greyhound, even down to the hooking around through the Lincoln Tunnel through NJ to take the GWB.

      Yup every different bus route does it’s own way I been noticing that lately but it’s all good I like it! But yes the Lincoln Tunnel is the start off for most buses to start their commutes! These bus rides are fun and a lot to see!

    • @mortalkombat1712
      @mortalkombat1712  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That’s a great question to ask! I been told that they do not like taking the I-95 the whole way due to so much traffic between Connecticut and Rhode Island! The route your mentioned sounds a lot easier to get to Boston from NYC!

    • @Ja100453
      @Ja100453 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I notice this route dose go thru southern ct congested cities such as Bridgeport Stamford and new haven on i95 then got off to i91 north. I do not know about any major traffic problems on i95 between new haven and providence

    • @mortalkombat1712
      @mortalkombat1712  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yup many buses takes I-95 until like exit 48 and gets off the highway to get on I-91 then stay on it until it gets to Hartford then leaves that highway to get on I-84 then that merges with I-90 so it will end up in Boston! I never seen traffic on I-95 going eastbound after New Haven also the highway gets smaller and turns into two lanes only so it’s a smooth ride taking it to Providence!

    Loved your video, but I'm perplexed why you would go from Manhattan, through Lincoln Tunn to NJ?? And then North back over the Hudson (you crossed it to go west, then crossed it to go east again?? Why). I live in Fairfield County CT and I woudl yhave taken the FDR to the Triboro, then New England Thruway (I-95) right upto I-91 in New Haven, then north to the Mass pike (90) east to Boston. From Darien it took me 2.5 hrs to reach Boston College max. Add one hour from you to Darien and that's your total time.

      I was not the driver for this commute. I was heading to Boston on Megabus so the bus driver had to follow the directions that was giving to him by the boss for this detoured route. Your route is quicker tho I know.

      Megabus is a double decker bus, and I believe the FDR and the Henry Hudson don't allow them. So, it's either cross over to NJ and take the Turnpike to the GWB or navigate Manhattan traffic to the Triboro.

    I agree and I like the longer way on interstates, but why go into NJ if you're gonna go back into NY to get to Boston (nless it's because the traffic was less going through Jersey)?

    • @itsmejoelee
      @itsmejoelee 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Going through New Jersey is the only non-congested way to I-95. This way will save 30 minutes to an hour depending on the time of day.

      I like interstates and the rigidness and high mast lighting. I love highways! And I mean highways in their true rigid definition - dual carriageways with the only access being in ramps

    • @robjackson5245
      @robjackson5245 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@itsmejoelee Southerners love highways, in the definition I mean them, too. Why do you think you see so many in Confederate flags, on I-95, I-10.
