    Big cities are more corrupt because that is where the money is.

    NYC is a failed city. Why is this so difficult to see?

    More and more small cities and towns are working hard to emulate those levels of corruption.

      And the sad part is that there is no longer any local newspaper that used to sniff out this sort of corruption until the city's controller steals $30 million, or the board of supervisors voted themselves a payraise to $400k/year five years ago.

    It's one party cities and states that become very corrupt. This is the case in many cities and states in the US.

    Even worse the campaign finance board of adams 2021 campaign audit is 900 pages.
    Mayor Adams' 2021 campaign stopped replying to NYC watchdog. It still got public funds.
    This is a disgrace.

    I think from high to low political office, we are just burdened with people with character issues like lack of integrity. There should be some basic tenets that all office seekers agree to like not stealing from your constituents, not sexually harassing anyone, or not accepting anything from foreign entities. So many candidates just don’t have great judgement and need to be told the rules of the road. And then we voters need to stop choosing leaders out of anger. Choosing out of anger usually works against our values and interests.

    Why are big cities so Democrat?!

    • @MrS-pe6sd
      @MrS-pe6sd หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Because dense urban cities are full of people who live on entitlement programs. And Democrats run almost entirely on social programs as a campaign platform. And statistically speaking people who partake of entitlements generally aren’t very informed politically. And over time that system feeds into itself creating big cities full of people who think voting is only about what you can convince the government to give you. I.e. Democrats. And because conservatives and libertarians don’t think that highly about handouts they never win elections in cities

    28:23 The US might have been able to broker an end to the war in Ukraine, but it appears, judging by what the US government has done and the corresponding results, that keeping the fight going is has been the objective so far.

    funny, cause the last two elections have been about "not trump" and intentionally ignores the specifics around who is running, and what they will do. But sure, Adams is trump I guess, go with that.

    • @sgtjohnnywallsmith8720

      The last 2 elections, President Trump spent his time campaigning on what his policies are. Clinton and Biden spent theirs lying and attacking President Trump and not on what their policies are. If you can find any video footage of Clinton and Biden laying out their plan for America and discussing their policies I'll vote Democrat the rest of my life. And I don't mean 10 seconds answering a softball question asked by a Democrat activist journalist.

    I'm disappointed that Nick invited the government to get involved in his personal life. A true libertarian simply stands in the public square and shouts "I DECLARE MARRIAGE."
