- It was about -10F this day with -30F wind-chill. So we must keep near the bus for dogs to warm up as needed. Some of these dogs could be in this weather all day, while others not so much. It's important to be in tune with your dogs body language.

She's such a good alpha. Clear boundaries, firm voice, and lots of fun. If they mess up and ruin the fun they'll be some peer pressure to deal with too. My dog would love this.
@@j.rebekah8605 alphas are a disproven and harmful myth about canines however. The once believed "Alpha wolves" of a pack are actually the mom and dad of all the other wolves.
Also, do not practice alpha based dog training. It has been proven to often cause traumatized, aggressive dogs with behavioural and mental issues.
Actually 2-3 often live together, and a couple of them are littermates from different houses, some have been walking together for a few years, or some started pack walks together at four months old so they’re well bonded. Def not 15 strange dogs together. Makes a big difference actually. Picking of 3 dogs from 3 houses to make a pack of 9 is totally different vibe than 9 solo household dogs

Doodles are like that. I have a cockapoo (a type of doodle), and she would never have chosen to warm up in the bus, instead of being outside and free. They seem to literally never get cold. 🤣

My Bernese Mountain dog has yet to look cold, the other night I let my dogs out at 3am in a snow storm and she went to her normal lay down spot and rolled on her back in the snow.

The dog butts! I cant! I need to go on this bus. If public transport allowed dogs I'd leave my car at home and probably be late for work cause I'd miss my stop every single time from just petting these guys.

Amazing how well behaved these dogs are. I wish I could use a service like this but my bully wouldn't come back if she was having a good time and probably get lost in the forest the moment she saw a squirrel or rabbit to chase.

@@robertDK3 The breed has far less importance than the education and obedience. You can have aggressive golden Labradors and over sweet Rottweilers.
@@marine463 What did you do to improve the behavior? My dog listens only indoors and if treats are involved. When we are outdoors on off-leash walks most of the time she's doing exactly what she wants to do. On the pro side she usually doesn't walk too far away from me while sniffing around but if she sees a squirrel or other wildlife she likes to chase it (she doesn't harm just chase and bark)
@@mydogsbutler You have to make yourself interesting for your dog. Throw a snack bag during your walks now and then, and reward him if he returns it. Sometime he will be waiting for you to throw the bag and everything else will be boring. Also when a dog is unreliable, I would not let him off the leash, at least for now. There are very long leashes, I don’t know how they are called in English. We say „Schleppleine“. Your dog can roam freely around, but when needed you can pull him easily to you.

I have suspicions about that. She has them parked on a gravel road, those rocks hurt to walk on, especially for the small dogs she was saying had "cold toes." Go ahead, take off your shoes and try to walk on those rocks.

THIS IS AWESOME!!! And such a great idea. I love how the owners let the dogs wait outside for the bus at the curb, you should see if any of the owners have any pictures or videos of their dog waiting on, getting picked up or dropped off that you can use for a compilation video.

Some may forget Standard Poodles were working hunting breeds. My neighbor's standard hung out with the husky/cross all through the cold months.

Saw title cold toe dance and immediately thinking of my doggies who run out in the snow here then look at me doing that dance -
Sometimes gotta tredge through 4 feet of snow or carefully crawl up a snow bank to grab their silly selves.
Second year of living on the Brunswick border and my little one had overestimated how long he could take the cold as he was playing with his pup.
They both came in and had the cold paws that make them yipe when warming up. Though a necessary lesson for them as they learned their limit after that and would promptly come back inside or call for us when they got too cold. Though too, that was more they were so distracted playing that they probably didn't realize, either way, lesson learned- both them and us-.
