The ram temple issue is something that traces back 500 years.The sanction for building the temple came after decades of contemplation by supreme court judges on the basis of 577 evidences which proved the existence of a temple which was demolished by invaders to build a mosque. These evidences can be broadly categorised as the following:
1) scriptural evidence
2) archeological evidence
Now there is evidence for around 2000 such temples that were grazed to build mosques or other structures. Please understand that Hindus only really want 2-3 of them back as it is critically important to our faith. Ram temple is not just any temple, it is like the Mecca of Hinduism.
