Hello. So I’ve been looking at this Mike right now. I currently own the original blue yeti microphone. That’s the one that has the knobs for adjusting the microphone gain and the knob for the pattern selector and the headphone knob. And the mute button. But there’s a little problem with the yeti X. If you’re like me and you’re blind or visually impaired, you may have a problem with the smart knob. The smart knob meaning when you press the knob and hold it down, you have three choices of either microphone mode, to adjust the microphone, headphone mode to adjust your computer, Sound card, And blend mode. My understanding of that is if you turn it, One Direction, you are turning the microphone mix up and turning down the headphones, turn it the other way vice versa. Now, if I have headphones on, I think there’s a way that I’ll be able to tell the difference between these three mows. I think I don’t know. I don’t have this Mike yet. Now the other thing I could do to get around this problem, is install the Logitech G hub software. But there’s one problem with that. The gaming hub software from what I understand is not very accessible with screen readers. That is what reads what’s on the screen for blind and visually impaired people. For some it could be magnification, but for me, it would be screen reading. Now I’ve been in contact with the Logitech team. And they act like they’re gonna build accessibility features into their software. Whether or not they’re really gonna do that I do not know. But I have certainly let them know about it. as far as the pattern selector. I don’t need any accessibility for that I can tell the difference between Omni, cardio, and stereo and by directional. I’ve used the blue yeti microphone, classic or original blue yeti microphone long enough to be able to distinguish the sound and the difference of the patterns. So maybe you might wanna address this about the blend mode if I’m right about that in another video or some other communication form. Now, I do like the buttons. Those at least are still tactile that I can feel it. But if I can work out that blend thing That I think I’d be OK then I’d be able to tell the difference between the moods. So I think it can be doable. But I’m not sure this is all what I’m understanding. The other thing I don’t like is that you’re getting a micro cable rather than a USB-C cable personally, it’s time to go to USB-C and USB type a on the other end that’s fine.
Just got this mic. But I’m not understanding. Does it not include software to actually record the clips? I have the hub but I can’t figure out how to record clips that aren’t the sample clips used to change settings
this or the razer seiren v2 pro? im leaning towards the razer since its a dynamic mic because im trying to get a mic that wont catch my keyboard clicks/fan, currently using a blue snowball and if the blue yeti x is as sensitive as the snowball then i dont think its worth it to me, what do u think?

No you have to download obs for videos or audacity for recording audio
