Oh this was so very light & springy & beautiful. Since my work hrs were cut in July & I haven't been buying makeup, I've been shopping my stash & having so much fun. I've been using the rose quartz palette, eagerly awaiting spring. Of course, this is Alaska & we have tons of snow so it'll be awhile before spring arrives. Thank you, beautiful lady for being here !

Idk, everything here on the prairie in CO is still pretty brown, but we do have some tulips starting to come up in the front yard, so I'm excited for that!! It is nice to start pulling out all the colors and florals! I did get out some Easter decorations this year - I haven't done that in years!! Honestly, I hesitate to bring it up, but I'll be directing my focus on taxes this week. It's always such a chore. I'll have to come up with some kind of little treat as a reward! Hello my friend, here in Labrador today it's absolutely beautiful outside, but cool temps = -7 but feels like -13C (that's 26.6 feels like -8.6F). I think it's probably around about the same as your temps today. As soon as you held up that palette, I thought it was a ColourPop one, I think they have one very similar. I love ColourPop. I have hooded eyes too, perhaps even a little more than yours but you certainly are good at putting makeup on them - all of your looks are beautiful on you, I don't think they're too bold at all! Yes, we just finished a spring storm and did get about 60-70 cm of snow this past weekend, as we like call it Sheelagh's Brush, which is folklore in this province = In Newfoundland few refer to March 18 by her name day; nowadays her name is only invoked with reference to any storm that takes place on or shortly after March 18 - the storm being referred to as Sheelagh’s Brush. So ingrained in the Newfoundland psyche is the association of with Sheelagh and the last storm of the winter season is that the fishing fleets were reluctant to put out their gear and the sealing fleets were reluctant to take to the ice preferring to wait until after Sheelah’s Brush had passed. I really don't have a favorite time of year for makeup looks, I like my makeup evenly throughout the year - I rarely leave the house w/out a full face on! Otherwise, b/c of my rosacea, if I see someone out and about who knows me, without makeup they are like "what's wrong?" b/c they think I've bawling my eyes out for an hour OR they think I'm under the weather and feverish, ha ha. I can't do wings - I've tried and I get so fed up and lose patience so fast, I just say the heck with that, I got no time fo dat, LOL. I also don't use hilighters on the regular or mascara primer, but you have really turned me on to setting spray - I really do find a BIG difference in my makeup not fading so fast throughout the day, and I also find it doesn't transfer as easily. I purchased the same concealer stick after watching you use yours and I do really like it! Your look is beautiful as always. Hello Laura!! Absolutely love this look, you look beautiful!! I love Sydney Grace eyeshadows, they are so easy to work with and blend like a dream!! This palette is so good, you can use it for simple, everyday look or really take it glam!! Plus she also put this palette out in 2 different tones, very thoughtful!😊 I'm not one to use little gadgets like those things that help you do a wing or even that shadow guard you showed, but I think I may have to rethink that, lol. I did such a beautiful look just yesterday, worked on it for awhile. Used a new eyelash curler and went in to apply my mascara and it went all on my eyeshadow😮😢...I was devastated, I let it dry and tried flaking it off...it just was a mess. I may have to look into that shield, lol. Anyways, thanks for this video, these are actually my favorites, people using what they already have, shop my stash, then it may remind me of something I have hiding in a drawer😊

I just recently found out about Sidney Grace. I had heard of the brand b4, but I really never looked into it. A subscriber sent me one of their palettes, and now I'm hooked. I also think it's so nice that they offer two palettes in lighter and deeper shades. That's super thoughtful! Oh NO, on the mascara ruining your eyelook you took so much on!! And the mascara didn't flick away easily! Honestly, that's one of my mascaras that does flick away easily. I can't stand one's that smear because of exactly what happened to you. This palette is so good, you can use it for simple, everyday look or really take it glam!! Plus she also put this palette out in 2 different tones, very thoughtful!😊 I'm not one to use little gadgets like those things that help you do a wing or even that shadow guard you showed, but I think I may have to rethink that, lol. I did such a beautiful look just yesterday, worked on it for awhile. Used a new eyelash curler and went in to apply my mascara and it went all on my eyeshadow😮😢...I was devastated, I let it dry and tried flaking it off...it just was a mess. I may have to look into that shield, lol. Anyways, thanks for this video, these are actually my favorites, people using what they already have, shop my stash, then it may remind me of something I have hiding in a drawer😊
And no joke, that Lawless mascara was the one I used yesterday, lol. Mine says NIGHTLIFE on the bottom, the color maybe?!?! It's the one that got all over my eyeshadow, lol
I just recently found out about Sidney Grace. I had heard of the brand b4, but I really never looked into it. A subscriber sent me one of their palettes, and now I'm hooked. I also think it's so nice that they offer two palettes in lighter and deeper shades. That's super thoughtful!
Oh NO, on the mascara ruining your eyelook you took so much on!! And the mascara didn't flick away easily! Honestly, that's one of my mascaras that does flick away easily. I can't stand one's that smear because of exactly what happened to you. It's SUPER frustrating!! Also, I think we have the same one because I think that's the only one they make. Very interesting 🤔

I think the light eye look is beautiful, but I understand, when I use light eyeshadows or lipsticks I feel washed out. We pretty much have summer all year long, very few cool days, it was 82 today, so I wear whatever shades I want, lol. I love the lawless mascara. Have a great week!
Yes, lighter shades are very iffy on me. I also think it's because we are so used to seeing ourselves in more rich shades that it's shocking to our eyes to see ourselves in lighter, brighter shades.🤔 lawless mascara rocks!! One of my favorites for sure! Have a great week sweetheart 😘
