    Thanks Commander Carol for your candor on all your videos! I’ve inspired my grand daughter by showing your videos about female fighter pilots. She and her younger brother can tell you anything about any aircraft they see, which just amazed me and my wife. Keep up your great work! Believe me, it’s inspiring not only to old men like me, but young people.

    The main reason is, that there is a bunch of a musician stuff on youtube, and politics and this kind of stuff Ward.
    If you'll read a lot of books about aviation (literature of facts) as like me, you'll will reach a point of a saturation, where new books don't bring you any new informations, from my point of experiences. And If you are deep fan of the military aviation, You will soon realize, that there is a huge gap between books and experience be an military aviator. Ward's channel perfectly fills the gap, because fan like me, can ask a true Naval Aviator, about his work experience and things not covered in the books. That is the reason, why his channel became very popular after a release of "Truth about Goose death". If I wanna know interesting and untold specifics of the job, best I can do is, ask a naval aviator about the job he done.

    Once again, Holy F**k Mooch, give Mike a chance to talk! 😂 I can't say this was an "interview", but it was a very interesting to learn more about Mooch. He is a great storyteller and I like his channel too (I quite liked the Rick/Mooch best albums- Back In Black being the best).

    • @Nghilifa
      @Nghilifa ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Isn't the whole point to hear what Ward has to say? I mean, the less the interviewer (Mike) has to say, the better (not a critique on Mike, it's just what I feel in general about interviews) right?

    • @davidsmith8997
      @davidsmith8997 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@Nghilifa In general, I think you are right. But if there's no questions it's not an interview, it's a monologue. And Mike is quite experienced at asking both questions that move things along (not needed here) and/or ask about things he know viewers like hearing about (e.g., DACT). In that regard, this Mooch "interview" is a bit of a miss. Still, it was in fact quite good overall and I certainly enjoyed watching both parts! It just could have gone from a 10 to an 11 with a few questions (I'm sure Mooch will get that reference). Again, I LIKED IT, just teasing Mooch for running the whole show.

    • @kentl7228
      @kentl7228 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It was good. The interviewer asked good questions and Mooch answered thoroughly. Better than yes and no answers.

  • @2ZZGE100

    Good interview, but both part seemed very "thin" on Tomcat stories. I also felt how 'Ward Carroll wanted to tell his story his own way and I admire how Mike wanted to respect it by not interjecting. In other words, this could have been just a recorded video as there is no bi-diectional conversation. Oh well, the ultimate Tomcat story teller Admiral 'Nasty' Manazir will be absolutely a treat to watch and hopefully, Mike gets to ask his questions in that one.

    This *surprised* me, about midpoint blathering about Hollywood & stuff I thought what the ...... How has this happened?
    And I nearly channel hopped.
    But thought ' both these guys are usually good so let's see where this is going'.
    And that led to a fascinating insight into a world which wouldn't normally engage my interest - How to be a TH-cam/SMS success.
    [For me, if you're still reading this, this is as good as it gets for me 🙄on that front]
    Anyway, Mike & Ward here's a sugegstion for you .............. IF you could sub-title this 'How an X million views TH-cam channel took off' it could raise both your profiles and maybe inspire others?
