This pinball is so nice, thanks for keeping her alive. I need 40 extra square meters in my living room to buy a few ones and an extra 150 sqm to keep spare parts.
Great work Ronnie. You’ve done the heavy lifting. I always have more fun on the playfield than the motor board and the head. It’s good to have them both done. Looking forward to the playfield. I think the magic eraser is going to really help.
Fantastic video again Ronnie! I work with generators and when a coil overheats and the insulation melts we call it "shorted turns". Depending where the short occurs, the resistance will change and affect the magnitude of the coil current. Often leading to further overheating and damage or fire.
Hi there. Just want to thank you for your videos. I've had a Goldeneye for about 15 years that was just as sad now as when I bought it. Never had the knowledge to even attempt to repair it. Now I have it 99% working with the exception of the magnasave board that seems to have a smoking problem. I love that you show the logic for finding the fault and then actually show how to fix it. Others seem to find the fault and then cut to it already fixed... Thank you sooo much.
Thank you, I was hoping when I started the channel that it would help people save these cool machines all around the world, since I can only save a few of them here locally. I'm glad you got yours up and running! Have fun with it!
I learned how to fix my Jurassic Park Data East by watching this channel, and I started from basically zero to the point where now I'm confident in doing all kinds of repairs. You'll fix your goldeneye I'm sure, just keep at it and if I could do it, you can too!
The bracket that was bent almost broken, must be a backup for when the plunger stop breaks. Like it did. Gottlieb must have wanted the game to play longer when that stop breaks. I'm guessing. By Ron replacing both, it will last another 56 years.
Awesome video as always! However.. the next time the Super Lube makes an appearance I expect you to turn down the lights, put on the appropriate music and proceed to show us exactly how you apply this special gooo... 🤣😘

It is always an awesome Friday when Ronnie shows off his tube of Super Lube!!! Its Dielectric ... its what electromechanical pinball rivets crave!!!!
It's the secret!!!!
You are just a wealth of knowledge Ron. Thanks for taking the time to share it with us. Cheers from Canada!

Another great Video.. Ron cheers From Australia..
Thanks Ron, looking forward to Tuesday. You and Joe have a good weekend!
amazing stuff. the unassuming artwork, the more you look at it closely, might even be termed 'lurid.' neato relic!

Enjoyed this one, thanks!

Made it as far as Melbourne Australia. 🙃
Once you let the magic smoke out, it's hard to put it back in.

What's up Ron? Hello from Finland!
Awesome video. Fun games to work on for sure.
Ron another great video !

You guys need to video a series with a parody of soap opera as a narrative device.
Great video ronnie ❤ tell joe it's broke 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
It's awesome.
What is the Purpose of that 470 ohm/2 watt resistor for the 3 to 5 ball switch? you mentioned it makes it primed to pull in the solenoid quicker
love the pinball machine same age as me and in better shape than me LOL :D
Just got a card whiz pinball up and running. I really like working on gottliebs except for their decagon score wheels😅

Hey Ron!!
Hey Jason!
If the score reset on an EM isn't awesome you aren't right. LOL That sound just means.. pinball is about to happen! Have a great weekend everyone!
I’m over 50 years old and still playing, kinda, too.
9:01 12.5 mm
1/2" is roughly 13mm.
1/2” is approximately 12mm.
No Frankie Valli on the back glass?
(No, different theme)
👍👍👍😎☕

Yodelayheehoo!
Couldnt those parts simply be welded? A couple seconds with a mig and grinder could set them right , i get that there only a couple bucks to order.
I haven't seen a welder in these videos (but I haven't seen them all). Does he even have a welder there?
@TheRealScooterGuy haven't seen one either but one would be a nice to have upgrade
🤣😂 Conservative/Liberal adjustment.
3/10 not a wedge head (joke)
