We need to boycott this game honestly, if all the big simmers got together and boycotted the sims 4 until it’s fixed I bet EA would wake up, I think because we just buy each pack no matter how broken they are they just don’t give a crap about quality.
One of the fixes was a major glitch in the interior designer career which was released in 2021. They dont care about the quality of the game and just care about releasing more and more broken packs. And how much we spend. Which is unfortunate since Ive been playing since Sims 1 on gamecube when i was 7. Sucks to fall our of love and respect with a franchise thats been such an integral part of my childhood and adulthood

There have been no real packs just the two kits since then, so hopefully they will register yours and other simmers discontent now with the hopefully poor sales following the release of the stuff pack. I usually buy packs on release but after my wedding stories and DHD released with their main content broken, I stopped doing that and was waiting for the rental pack to be fixed before purchasing it. I am still waiting. And I really wanted to buy the goth kit (as a pastel goth) and the castle kit but the goth kit still has the head of the sims misshapen like an egg even after the update. All they did was fix the eye issue. I am so tired of being disappointed by this game. This game is my special interest and has been since the Sims 2 but I won't update or buy anything until they stop releasing broken packs and fix what is broken.@@SaffyAmaryllis
I mean… I don’t buy them if they’re broken. I was really looking forward to both DHD and For Rent, and somewhat interested in Dine Out, but I have not bought any of these packs and will not unless and until they’re fixed. And I don’t know why so many people insist Seasons is a “must have” when it completely breaks gardening. I have no plans to buy that either. 🤷🏼♀️

My Sims 4 game is so broken that I stopped playing it months ago. It was too exhausting and frustrating to continue to deal with. Now I play exclusively Sims 3 and I love it so much more!

Uninstalled and won't be going back even if they ditch the button. I am so done, this was the final straw for me. I was going to keep playing since I paid for it, but not support project Rene but enough is enough. I still have the sims 2 and the sims 3 until the other life sims get released.

I can't even get my save file to load since the update. All mods removed/deleted, cleared caches, repaired the game, nothing works. I'm so angry, I'm like 22/23 generations into my game! The testing by the EA is just ridiculous.

Only a few of the packs are even worth it anymore all the ones with actual gameplay are only worth it like Parenthood, Cottage Core, Get to Work and Highschool / College and like horse Ranch seasons all the occult packs batuu even the Rent pack has some game play if your lookin for more gameplay instead of it looking pretty

EA adds a vitalago feature for inclusivity yet then create a flashing logo that can actually hurt some its players. We already have packs and kits ads on the start screen.
They really didn't think about the people who have a hard time not fixating on things that flash/pulsate. I'm one of those people and that would drive me INSANE. I didn't have it in my game but I'm scared to load it up today and possibly have it there :\ I can't even stand having notification alert icons showing.
@@love420smoke same, I'm really happy people are speaking up about it. There are so many kids that play that literally can't buy all the packs, even on sale. Whether it be their personal finances or their parents can't/won't pay for it either. I feel really bad for those kids :/
They didn't fix the egg shaped head issue with the goth hoodie. I knew they wouldn't because they kept ignoring it but the hoodie literally makes the head look like an egg at the top no matter what sim you use. I saw a modder fix this and don't see why EA can't. Also why can't they give us hat chops with it? Would it bury them?
I wanted another perspective after watching another sims news video that didn't have any gameplay showing off this new button so i clicked on yours. This is enraging and i have half the mind to stop my game from updating and just play offline. Sadly though i wont do that do to the fact i use the gallery for a lot of things. I hope this button isnt in my game because ive heard its possibly just a test and its not in everyones games (not sure how true that is) but if it is i also hope EA removes it immediately, this is enraging and so overstimulating to those who have sensory issues.
It caused me to have a seizure that night after I was on my game I went to bed and had one in my sleep. I have to be careful of anything flashing or this will happen to me. They shouldn’t have something flashing 😮 I have quite playing for a while between that and all the crazy bugs 😢 They need to fix this game 😢
The new cart button doesn't even show up in my game (probably because I own everything already), instead there's no social interaction wheel and my sims can't even talk to anyone. However everything else runs normally. Does everyone else also has the same issue? And for side note, I've removed all mods from the folder. This' so frustrating

I don't buy more packs till bugs are fixed. They can flash and flash and flash, that is very desperate and remembers my by every flash on Paralives and Live by you. In my head I tell my self by every flash "June, Live by you comes out in June.
Hi! In my game i do not have the button and also i cannot interact with my sims. I thought my save file was broken and deleted it... only to see it happened in a new file 😭😭😭🥴
After the last update my game wouldn't load but the ea app kept saying that my game was already running, when it wasn't. I've deleted the game and reinstalled, I even signed out and back into my account, but it still doesn't work. I have no idea what to do now.
This update is causing problems with the game. One example, cannot get leftovers from the fridge. Have to open it and drag the food out. It is also very laggy, and so on. My mods and CC are off. and I cleared cache and so on. The icons on the top overlap, and there are problems with the university. This is bad.
I got anxious when i saw Sims 4 required an update, as im already triggered since steam updated Skyrim and so i have to spend a few days fixing everything, but I finally figured out how to use offline mode, so I guess I'll stick with that and be careful with tray files 😅
If your dialogue tree is broken with your Sim, it's because you have the City Living expansion pack. Make sure your singing skill is below 5 and that will fix the problem until the devs fix the game. Hope this helps! 😄
I honestly think they need to temporarily disable and fix most of the thinks that need major updates in the game and give us a warning to save are saves and mods.
I am one of the person that still get the flashing. And yes, it stop for a moment after I clicked the button. But as soon as I did something that involves loading screen (going to another lot, going to manage worlds, etc) it will flash again and again. Genuinely gonna stop playing sims 4 and continue playing sims 2 and sims 3 at the moment.
I took a long break from sims 4 recently came back was enjoying it again until now when everytime I play a certain family I made it crashes my game and comes up with an error wish they’d fix it properly in the first place
I couldn't start up a new game, replace a sim and and then I had to repair the game so I could fix something. I just gave up and no, not buying that kit. It's really sad.
My game said nope and won’t load at all. I should have waited a few days before playing again but I was working on something. I don’t mind them adding a spot for the pack. It’s convenient having it there. It baffles me that people are offended that a gaming company wants more money. They need to spend their time right now making sure the game works, not dealing with people being pissed about a feature to purchase packs in live mode. If no one is pissed about the calendar and tutorial flashing every time you load the game , they really need to get over it. It’s not that serious. No one is obligated to buy anything regardless of a flashing cart.
With how pricey things are right now ea really didn't even to do this . People hard time buying food for a month or even a week . Ea need to focus fixing the game not pushing packs on people more then already do.

I don’t have all the packs and it wasn't flashing in the two hours I played yesterday. The continuous flashing might be a bug or is only effecting certain accounts.
Fixing bugs doesn’t make money. That’s true of every single game. I’m in the industry. So we’re forced to continually create new content to buy in order to support the big fixes. And most games - modern games anyways - have cash shops right within the UI. I don’t think that’s uncommon. What they should do is only highlight it when NEW content is available and complexly NOT when you’ve already purchased everything there is nothing else to buy. Now that’s more in line with what other games do.
I dont think they should be testing out new features on already paid for content. This isnt a beta , it's supposed to be a finished product. They wont scam me into purchasing digital content again! When its unplayable due to them breaking it, it should be considered theft. No company walks into your house and messes up your stuff and says oops oh well.
I'm missing only 3 of the kits and the shopping cart isn't in my game at all. Don't get me wrong I'm happy that I don't. I'm passing along this info to let you know that not everyone has it.

So another bug/glitch. This is getting so cray, cray. The Sims team SHOULD just FIX this poor game. Can't they SEE its haveing WAY to MANY issues? The game is sooo broken that it is getting to be UN-PLAYABLE. Don't HEAR US tellung them to PLEASE FIX this game?? And yet we KEEP playing because WE HOPE the team WILL FIX things then they DON'T. I even went back to playing SIMS 3 for awhile. But then SIMS 3 started haveing some type of issue with the cheats. Like I try to put one AFTER I PUT in the MAIN Cheat that is susposed to let me put in All other cheats. Like I put in bb.move objects. OR bb.moveobjects ON. But my game did said it did NOT reconize either of those two cheats. So I STOPPED olay after getting mad and after doing everything I KNEW to DO. All I wanted to DO was MOVE simething and cover a hole in my sims floor that too that had also happend some how. Yeah. I got MAD for this reason and because my cheats would NOT work rite. Have NOT Gone back to my sims 3 game since it happened just last week. Wanted to take some time from it and to calm down. As I said before I MAY go BACK and TRY Again. Maybe and because I actually DO Like Sims 3. That said. Still can't believe Sims 4 is going through this when it COULD be a GOOD game and HAS tge potential to be. This honestly doesn't surprise me 🙄 I love The Sims games, but EA clearly loves their money more. I miss when games were released completed and actually worked lol. It's like ordering a meal that claims is a full meal on the menu, but instead you have to pay for each individual french fry and the ketchup is just a small extra 😂
I love the sims, and everything they have done for it but they need to fix the bugs and all the packs they are promoting you so hard to buy. It’s actually bullshit.
I do feel like it's hard for them to fix all the bugs becuase every computer is so different. Even my gaming pc and my husbands gaming pc are two very different pcs. I get that the bugs are annyoing but its like they fix them for so many people and it dosen't fix for others becuase of computers being different.

Mine was flashing CONSTANTLY in game. It was beyond annoying! I really hope they remove it, the home screen is ENOUGH.

My sims can’t woohoo….idk what’s going on but even with the HIGHEST RELATIONSHIP- I click the woohoo option and nothing happens.

I didn't get the new icon instead it squished and messed up my whole upper corner... With mods off...
That's why the bar on the upper right corner was bugged. I had to drag my cursor over the symbols because I was unable to see it😬

Im on Mac and it doesn’t pulsate at all. But the cart annoys me and I will not give them the satisfaction of clicking on it.
With how pricey things are right now ea really didn't even to do this . People hard time buying food for a month or even a week . Ea need to focus fixing the game not pushing packs on people more then already do.
Fr bc I tried playing together after getting the for rent pack an my game would load but then crash afterwards I deleted everything to restart again 😔😭
I don't see the shop cart in my game, I did update but this is next day after your video, maybe they took it down or my game is glitchy
I don’t have all the packs and it wasn't flashing in the two hours I played yesterday. The continuous flashing might be a bug or is only effecting certain accounts.
Fixing bugs doesn’t make money. That’s true of every single game. I’m in the industry. So we’re forced to continually create new content to buy in order to support the big fixes. And most games - modern games anyways - have cash shops right within the UI. I don’t think that’s uncommon. What they should do is only highlight it when NEW content is available and complexly NOT when you’ve already purchased everything there is nothing else to buy. Now that’s more in line with what other games do.
I dont think they should be testing out new features on already paid for content. This isnt a beta , it's supposed to be a finished product. They wont scam me into purchasing digital content again! When its unplayable due to them breaking it, it should be considered theft. No company walks into your house and messes up your stuff and says oops oh well.
I'm missing only 3 of the kits and the shopping cart isn't in my game at all. Don't get me wrong I'm happy that I don't. I'm passing along this info to let you know that not everyone has it.
I heard it hasn't gone out to all games yet. That this is more of a test run.

Yeah you could make that argument but then what of those of us who paid for base game and DLC? Don't make excuses for them, they know what they are doing, and they back peddled a couple of hours ago and said this is just a test and it's not supposed to flash and vibrate all the time. My game crashes all the time now I never had that issues and even with little to no cc or mods it does it
I removed my script mods and since this update I have one sim who can’t click on other sims to interact with them 🤔

Yes - has to do with the singing level. I lowered it from 6 to 3 and he could interact again . A singing level over 5 causes it
So another bug/glitch. This is getting so cray, cray. The Sims team SHOULD just FIX this poor game. Can't they SEE its haveing WAY to MANY issues? The game is sooo broken that it is getting to be UN-PLAYABLE. Don't HEAR US tellung them to PLEASE FIX this game?? And yet we KEEP playing because WE HOPE the team WILL FIX things then they DON'T.
I even went back to playing SIMS 3 for awhile. But then SIMS 3 started haveing some type of issue with the cheats. Like I try to put one AFTER I PUT in the MAIN
Cheat that is susposed to let me put in
All other cheats. Like I put in bb.move objects. OR bb.moveobjects ON. But my game did said it did NOT reconize either of those two cheats. So I STOPPED olay after getting mad and after doing everything I KNEW to DO. All I wanted to DO was MOVE simething and cover a hole in my sims floor that too that had also happend some how. Yeah. I got MAD for this reason and because my cheats would NOT work rite. Have NOT
Gone back to my sims 3 game since it happened just last week. Wanted to take some time from it and to calm down.

This honestly doesn't surprise me 🙄 I love The Sims games, but EA clearly loves their money more. I miss when games were released completed and actually worked lol. It's like ordering a meal that claims is a full meal on the menu, but instead you have to pay for each individual french fry and the ketchup is just a small extra 😂
I updated my game and mods and i dont hacve that button lol. But my game is so slow and my mod keeps popping up broken windows lol

Nah, seems to be random. Other Sims youtubers who have all the packs not only have found the cart in there game, they experienced the flashing.
95% of my mods are fixed im just waiting on basemental and ww
I love the sims, and everything they have done for it but they need to fix the bugs and all the packs they are promoting you so hard to buy. It’s actually bullshit.
I do feel like it's hard for them to fix all the bugs becuase every computer is so different. Even my gaming pc and my husbands gaming pc are two very different pcs. I get that the bugs are annyoing but its like they fix them for so many people and it dosen't fix for others becuase of computers being different.
