- I am not a certified Color Analyst so I'm coming at this as a makeup artist of 25 years who puts clients into seasons while I do their makeup, BUT I have studied seasons and color science since August so I'm pretty darn good at putting you into your best makeup season. I use the OG 4 seasons system but today there are brands that do 12 seasons and I think that is best for wardrobe. Stay till the end and follow carefully laid out instructions so you can find your right season.

I don’t have any pictures of when I was younger because they are all in storage as we are building a house!!! I’ve always been told I’m a spring , I turn very golden in the summer but pretty pale with pink undertones in the winter… so it’s always been so confusing for me.
It can be confusing! I see color analysis expert say that Reese Witherspoon is a spring and others that say she is a summer, and they are all experts and certified

Yes, great video. Your two examples of makeups perfectly demonstrates what you said about noticing the makeup vs noticing you. Yes the first look was gorgeous. But that's what I thought, that makeup looked gorgeous on you. But as soon as you switched to the other color palette I thought YOU looked gorgeous. I'm going to try to start saving so I can have you get me into seint and demi.

This may be weird but I'm really loving Ballerina as a base. Idk....I tried it one day bc I was just going to gym in morning and wanted something light on but skin tone evened out. So I put it all over. I felt so pretty. Added in NR little bit under eyes and it just evened everything out. Touch of Bella to warm things up. LOVE. I gotta order some more lol.

I think we determined that I was either a summer or winter, but it would be good to confirm as like you, the majority of my wardrobe is black, grey or beige. My eyes went from dark brown to green in my 30’s which has changed my appearance dramatically.

I don’t have a Seint artist. I follow a few cause you all are amazing. I purchased your master class and have started that. I have followed you for awhile. I am really interested in Demi. I think that is color correcting but not sure. I think now after a few years of following I am ready to dive into some seint. I have not found a Seint artist close to my age except for you and I want an artist who can relate to what I am going through with my skin and my hormone life!! You get me. I can send you all that you mentioned if that what you need for the color match for Seint Demi. I apologize in advance if this is not how you are suppose to do it. Omg you look beautiful in warm tones. You are so right about these colors. The black and red looks beautiful too but like you said the colors wear you, but those spring colors are like genetically coded for you. Interesting how this analysis can change the way we look at makeup and wardrobe. I mean all colors are beautiful and all folks wearing it are beautiful, but if done right what a difference. Mix St Tropez or Tropicana with it! Desert shouldn’t be strong. It’s a gloss so more sheer. Try a lighter hand and see❤

Always wanted to love Back honey in its day, but my natural lip color is quite pigmented so it doesn’t pop. But back in its hey day, I so wanted to love it.
I never could wear black honey as a spring and I always felt left out
W O W!!! I loved both on you!! This is my problem and it’s really weird. I was a color analyst with Beauty Control Cosmetics in the 80s early 90s. I was told I was a Summer. I was bored with pastels and it intrigued me so when I was color matched when it came to stark white and ivory they said I could wear both. I’m dirty blonde with ash tones but always had blonde highlights. My hairdresser was male and a photographer and said “I have never known anyone who looked good in stark white and ivory both! Even at 73 I get compliments on both?? Black is half my wardrobe also😂😂 I wear purples navies charcoal light gray white green taupe beige all cool tones. My veins are blue and fair almost white skin. I was at a Christmas party last week and a person I haven’t seen in a long time came over and said WOW YOU LOOK LIKE YOU ARE AGING BACKWARDS!! I had on a sparkly sweater white and black silk wide legs pants. My makeup was still with White Peach. It looked really good. My question is how can that be? 😂😂😂 I don’t know why I’m so weird!! I get a lot of compliments all the time and young men still whistle at 73😂😂😂 maybe you can figure all this out cuz I’m not knowing what to do😂😂😂😂😂😂 GREAT video my friend!! This Demi do you need to set it under eyes or face ? I always get high end foundation i love it anytime a new foundation comes out I buy it even concealers but even though u dont have to set I love the look of powder

So, "Season Matching " and "Color Match " are different?
I'm very much into the color seasons. Loved this video because color analysts talk about clothing colors but not so much about makeup. ! It would be great to see a series like this showing all four seasons makeup. How would a summer or autumn also do this glam, evening look, etc. How would each season do the "cold girl" look. As a summer, I would love to understand how to do a summery, tanned-girl-on-vacation look. I've tried and I just can't seem to get it right. Also, what do you think of the theory of picking colors opposite your eye color to make your eyes stand out? Isn't that going against color harmony?
I love popping eyes with opposite colors on the wheel. That’s why when I wear reddish, browns or rust on my eyes my green really pop.
Calia is brand name. Carrie underwood is no longer affiliated with Calia. Love the top. When I worked, cream, navy, camel, gray were my go to colors. Now I added Orange, turquoise, coral. My favorite color is olive green! I’m truly a Spring!

We are born into seasons. Natural born hair color plays into it. You never change your season, even with hair color

I'm definitely a dark winter with light cool olive undertones. Unfortunately most foundations don't match me so I have to add a blue foundation mixer to even foundation with cool undertones because they will look straight up oompa loompa on me. Even though I'm Latina all my life I've been called snow white, Casper and such because of the contrast with the brown eyes and dark hair. I stopped wearing bright lipsticks and started wearing muted shades that kinda gave me a tanner look. I'm on the precipice of embracing my lighter skin tone and looking into buying brighter bolder lip colors.
Yes, olive skin has some green, hence the name Olive, yet cool. So many brands miss the mark

Yes, the color match is more about foundation and Demi so do the color match first and then you can always do the seasonal analysis afterwards

Yes but it’s tricky. Requires younger photos
