The chiefs had a good defense last year but like you mentioned it's a miracle that Lamar got out of some of those circumstances. Many of those attempts to block are just complete misses. It is pretty sad to see how bad the pass protection was. We were never out of that game. Even getting a little piece of the defender would have given Lamar a few seconds to get some of those throws off.

I knew we had problems with Stanley and the left guard but justice hill cost us big time as well

Man… I hope rosengarten works out, and on the left, Stanley seems cooked

Those were some bad reps by Ronnie, but I don't think he's a liability at left tackle. Hill was worse, imo in the blitz pick-up game, and the Chiefs were elite on defense.

And on that play around 5:00min in after Hill misses his block watch Simpson and his guy makes the tackle

This my fifth time watching and I’m still in disbelief how bad the pass pro was and no accountability

I wonder what and how serious Stanley's injury was

put Henry on that last play then you would have seen a guy get blocked pretty hard

From the looks of it Lamar wasn’t great but wasn’t awful either. Cheifs dominated up front. Simpson and Stanley were below replacement level. Gus and Justice were atrocious in pass protection.

IMO that was a drop by Andrews. Stanley definitely showed no concern and it was more apparent on that strip sack he allowed.
The RBs both Gus and Hill pass pro was awful. Watch him that first TD to Zay.
Simpson was on the ground all game.
The line as a whole was out physicalled. And I hope going forward the line will be stronger with the new additions.

Yes, we lost that game upfront.

@@uncolonizedmind absolutely, and after I watched games from the season we should have seen this coming.
This makes me question the Jets scouting because ain’t no way I would give Simpson a call nor Mosses to protect a 40 yr old Qb.

or we could just run the ball

@@Gunotforlyfe sounds good but the o line was completely outmatched and most of the time when we did run they were holding. The o line had no push at the point of attack and it’s apparent throughout the film.
And to be honest if their edge rusher don’t tear his ACL in the first half it would have been even worse.
The Ravens and EDC seen what I see and the o line needed a complete overhaul outside of Tyler. Hopefully we get some stronger lineman who can do the bullying instead of watching Lamar from the ground. And Henry hopefully is better than Gus and Hill at Pass Pro cause that was cringe stuff they put on tape

😂😂 people try say it's all Lamar Jackson fault but he makes the oline looks good they not a top five line only in the run pass protection gotta be 25 at best

Too predictable. This team, throughout the season and into the playoffs, NEVER run on 3rd and 5+ yards. Teams know our tendencies on when to play pass defense.
