ABOUT THE SUN:
The Sun is the reason that the solar system exists.
The Sun is the reason that the 9 planets their satellites, asteroids, comets, dwarf planets et all exist in the solar system.
In 'Vedic' astrology the Sun is a very important entity as it is considered to be the signifier of the soul and therefore it is closely connected to the expression of that purpose in this world.
The Sun is also the 'Sthir Atma Karaka' for all individuals and so worshipping the Sun and/or receiving the Sun's benefic influences can help in realizing one's life purpose.
Now the Sun is said to rule the sign of Leo, be exalted in Aries and debilitated in the sign of Libra.
However does that mean that all Librans will have trouble realizing their life purpose? Or does that mean that all Arians will be able to successfully realize their life purpose?
See this is where 'Vedic' astrology is so vast, detailed yet interconnected at the same time with all the other scriptures and 'puranas'. The important thing to always remember when trying to understand these placements is that 'absolutes' don't exist. Reading, studying and interpreting the energy of any placement is a highly nuanced art that comes with practice and a lot of allied knowledge from the vastness of the scriptures that form the 'Sanatana'.
ABOUT SUN IN SEVENTH HOUSE:
Sun in seventh house is a placement that is quite misunderstood by most people in the astrological community because if the 'rashi' placement is good, somehow no one looks beyond that to see that Sun is still occupying a naturally debilitated position since the seventh house corresponds to the natural placement of the sign of Libra which is where the Sun is set to be debilitated.
The Sun is not happy or comfortable in this placement because the nature of the Sun is individualism. The Sun, like a king, represents the important aspects that we need to embrace for us to be able to execute effectively our 'dharma' and soul purpose in this lifetime.
What is that? It is to be very self assured, solitary if need be, self focussed and autonomous.
In this placement however, the Sun tends towards being a lot more collaborative and socially dependent in order to fulfill its 'dharma' and soul purpose in this lifetime.
This can be great in terms of material pursuits such as business, design, law, PR etc but in terms of the actual problem free execution of one's soul purpose, this can be quite problematic since the native has a tendency to constantly get invovled in relationships that do not serve them the best.
Even so, this is still only an aspect of the story. There's a lot more to consider at different levels at that, with this placement..

In almost 60 years I have never had one relationship that was good. The funny thing is I was able to give and love to my relationships but, it was never returned. I look good so I attract people. I’ve gone into a space that I no longer trust anyone.
I feel safe being within myself.

I can't help but ask this question, why does this placement have some similarity to Rahu in 7th? Maybe because Sun is our natural sthir atmakaraka and Rahu is also our 'compass' for this lifetime.

Bigggggest issue in life since many years ,( almost 10 ) weak and poor digestion leading to whole lot of issues name it lethargy,zero drive, sleep issues , weight gain, no confidence, not able to work etc etc
Yes relationship were and to some extent still are troubled. Life partner is good and understanding but definitely thinking do not match hence occasional arguments. Had a wonderful baby child girl after 8 years into marriage ( delayed due to various health issues mentioned before no other reason) ...

To an extent.. however with the divisions charts it helps to look at placements relative to the D-1.

Is the Sun is in 7th but also conjunct Saturn then what does Saturn add to the interpretation? Maybe some sort of gain through relationships or restrictions within relationships? Saturn exalts in the 7th which constrats with Sun debilitating in the 7th.
