A wonderful opportunity to showcase this beautiful 917/10 wasted by art shots and music.

Great video, but cut the music so we can hear the car please. You spent a day with it and all we get is 4 minutes. More please

Great video, but that background music is so disappointing. Should have dropped that out from 1:36 on. You're driving a 917, no other music is needed.

This was a great presentation however it would have been better to hear the car instead of the music. Hearing it would have brought back great memories when I last saw it at the Times Grand Prix of Riverside which was the last ever true Can-Am race to be held. Footage of these rare cars are hard to come by.

Ruined by the music... can't hear the car or the Porsche rep speaking about it.

This 917 is awesome. And these shoots are stunning.

I’m guessing it was 1974. I was in the Navy and my ship was home ported at Mayport FL, outside of Jacksonville. I was sitting in a tavern one night in Jacksonville Beach and I struck up a conversation with a gentleman at the bar. It was Mike Colucci, chief mechanic for Peter Gregg of Brumos Porsche. He invited me to tour the race shop the next day. “If you see Peter there, don’t come in as he frowns on that.” The next day I showed up. (Peter was not there.) Mike gave me a short tour of the shop and this car was under a tarp, damaged from a shunt Hurley had at Atlanta.

Turn off the stupid music so I can here that beautiful flat 12 twin turbo engine!! Most people have no idea what that car sounds like!
I was at Riverside in 1972 on the back straightaway of the Times GP when Follmer & Donahue clocked by me at 220+ on laps 1-5!!
Still most incredible racing car ever witnessed 🏁
