Love your passion for community & books & escapism - what could be better? I look forward to following your adventures. Thanks for the bookish inspiration!
Hey welcome to booktube! I'm a Stephen King reader as well; however, I do read horror avidly I'm open to other genres as well. Again, welcome to BookTube! 🙂❤📚
Hello thank you for the very warm welcome. I am quite new to Stephen King, although I have enjoyed everything I’ve read thus far. Me too, it’s hard to pin my genres down.
Welcome to the BookTube community! Like you, I enjoy reading SciFi and Horror, but I’ll be looking to you for NonFiction recommendations. Best of luck with your channel - I look forward to watching more of your videos. Happy Reading! 😎📚👍
Thank you for the warm welcome. I will be looking at you for more sci if and horror recommendations as well. I am not sure how well versed I am in non fiction as some other book tubers but I am sure I could maybe do some recommendations of what I’ve read so far and that I’ve enjoyed. Thank you for the luck, I am glad you are. You too.
Hello there, thank you very much for your warm welcome. So am I. Yeah I do try to read some nonfiction when I can. There will definitely be more videos, I have a couple in mind so far.
Hi, Chris! I'm looking forward to hearing about all bookish things you want to share with us over the upcoming year. From an oldie content creator to a newbie, welcome aboard! We're so glad to have you.
Hi Nicholas, that is good to hear, I think that’s the hardest thing when you start booktube is if anyone is going to watch. Thank you very much for your warm welcome.
@@chrisreadingcorner3816 Don't you dare worry about that. That's the wonderful thing about this place. You don't have to go about trying to find your niche. I promise that it will find you. 🥰
Welcome to the club. Pretty new to the community myself but it has been great so far. I'm a fan of CS Lewis. Will be rereading The Screwtape Letters this month.
Hi Pat thank you very much for your warm welcome. That’s good to hear, I am glad it’s not just me that’s recently threw themselves in the deep end. Thank you very much and you also.
Welcome to BookTube Chris. Yes, reading events are fun. Oeh, love vinyl although I don’t collect it. But I used to be a graphic designer and there is some great cover art on vinyl out there. I found it a pity when cd’s took over. The cover art became less interesting on cd’s I found. Not that I designed any vinyl records or CDs though.
thank you very much for your warm welcome. they are I'd love to get more involved. Yes there is definitely, there is so much more you can do with regards to art to a vinyl that gets lost on a cd.
Hey Chris! Welcome to the Booktube community, and thanks for subscribing to my channel. 😊 I had to come check out your channel. I didn’t grow up reading Goosebumps (my eldest son did), but I read them now as an adult and enjoy them. You and I read similar genres. I love Harry Potter, and I’m a BIG fan of Stephen King’s work. You have to watch those unread books on your shelf when you bring new books home. 😂 Mine glare at me. 😂 I’ll be interested to hear about what you’re watching and listening to because I enjoy music and films. I invite you to participate in Old School April which is a month-long reading event in April. I’m one of the co-hosts, and it’s LOTS of fun. It looks like I’m your 50th subscriber! I’m wishing you all the best with your channel and looking forward to watching more of your content. 😊
Hey Kat, thank you very much for the warm welcome. I am so glad you have, and hope you stay. I definitely am starting to look for them in charity shops as I go. That’s good to hear, yeah Harry Potter is really good and Stephen King my next is Firestarter I am reading them in publication date. They do, like why not us, there is no room for those, although if I do get books now if I don’t start them then they have to go. Well films I’ve been watching sideways, about Schmidt and Nebraska, and American Beauty although probably controversial. My music is very eclectic and I’ve been listening to Radiohead, Mars Volta, Deftones, and Pixies lately. Old school April, I am not sure what that is but count me in, I will check it out.
@@chrisreadingcorner3816 I think it’s cool you’re reading King in publication order. I honestly can’t remember if I read Firestarter which means I probably have not. 🤷🏻♀️ I’ve read almost all of his novels as King, except the entire Dark Tower series. If all goes as planned, I want to tackle the entire series (only read The Gunslinger) in 2025. I also need to read most of his short stories and books under his pen name Richard Bachman (only read Thinner and The Regulators). My music is all over the place (alternative, classic rock, metal…no country). I recently saw Disturbed in concert. I have a short announcement video about Old School April on my channel. It involves reading, watching, listening, and eating nostalgia. Yes, eating favorite snacks from your childhood counts for Old School April. 🤣
@@katsnoveladventures1863 Yeah I think so, but then you look at books like Misery, Pet Sematry and It and they are ages away. You’ve not got as many as I have to catch up on then, I’ve read a couple of his Bachman books, the long walk was good, rage I wasn’t keen on. Your music tastes sound good, I like metal, punk, rock, jazz, alternative, a little bit of electronic. See all I am thinking now is lucky charms cereal, watching power rangers or stuff I watched when I was younger.
Hey there! Welcome to booktube! I’m also a Goosebumps child! My most recent must read would be As Long As The Lemon Trees Grow by Zoulfa Katouh. Such a fantastic book. I’ve subscribed to your channel and look forward to seeing more of your videos soon.
Hello there thank you for the warm welcome. Wow that’s cool, I do keep thinking about collecting goosebumps books. I’ve not heard of that I will have to check it out. I am glad you have, I have just uploaded a new one. I’ve also subscribed and look forward to watching more.
@@chrisreadingcorner3816 If you look up the book I’ve suggested, don’t be thrown when it shows as YA. It’s a fantastic read about the Syrian war and is very well done.
@@BandysBooks I have had a look at the book and it's also available at my local library. I wouldn't say I would be thrown by a book being YA, as I think it sounds like a good book. I will definitely have a look out for it next time I'm at the library.

I am probably not the best person to ask as I am new to uploading videos but I think there is a good community on booktube. It all depends on the books you like I think. What do you like to read?
@@chrisreadingcorner3816i like to read most genres. Anythings that opens a window into a different world. Sometimes i avoid things that become over commercialized (for instance, i have never read a Harry Potter book, though i always provided them for my daughter)
