I really wish that this suite is someday remade and they would let the part at 3:21 repeat itself like it did in the NES version of the game, i personally think it fits better than just playing it once.
Evil One (Estark’s theme) feels like one of those tracks that despite every other one translating really well into orchestra, the one cool one doesn’t match its original. It feels way too slow in comparison and the “chorus” doesn’t repeat.

yup, i've opened up the midi version from dragon quest 9 and the instrument list is a mile long
