I ran these machines for 4 years before moving into the tool room. Now I make cutting tools for our whole shop. The beauty behind a good Brown & Sharpe 00 or #2 is that it's single spindle as opposed to a davenport or new Britain. Much more accurate.
Thank you for posting this. These "Brownies" helped win wars for our side. Setting these up could be considered the original programming of machines.

Holy smokes thank you for posting this. I've seen similar for Wickmans but they are never full videos.
