1925 Locomotive Exchange MYTHBUSTER (Part 1)

The 1925 locomotive exchange between the Great Western Railway and the London & North Eastern Railway is one of the most famous episodes in British railway history. Everybody knows that the outcome was a total humiliation for the LNER...or was it?
In this video, I re-examine the evidence and suggest that the outcome of the trials was, in fact, a little more complex and nuanced.
