Hi guys! I've never owned a valve amp and I'm planning to get the bassbreaker15 combo 1x12.. just wondering whether it's loud enough to gig? I'm pretty sure it'll be able to handle small venues but maybe it doesn't have enough headroom if it to remain clean?? (correct me if im wrong) it does have a line-out though.. does this mean i'll be able to go direct to the PA and not have volume problems?? cuz if that's the case, there wont be a problem then
what's the difference between the combo and the head+112 versions of the 15w one ? By the specs it looks like the same thing. Does the head+112 have any advantages other that being able to use a different cab?

Im looking into silcent recording at home, and i do want to use an amp. Does the bassbreaker 15 have an internal dummy load. so if i were to just use the amp without a speaker cabinet directly into my recording interface, it would not create a black hole and destroy me and blow up in the process?
Joe Junior I have been reading nightmarish reviews about the noise in the effects loop of this amp. Apparently it has something to do with the internal grounding scheme in the amp. Using a straight pass-thru cable proves this. There is a fix, one part of it is to replace the metal 1/4" jack screws with nylon fastener for galvanic isolation. I expect there is more to that fix too, since the return side is Hi-Z (high impedance), hence more susceptible to noise (eg: from the transformers) than the Low-Z output impedance of the send side.
I've read that fender has released a service to fix it if you got a noisy one, but they sell the newer ones with the fix already installed at the factory for no extra charge now
So I'm waiting to hear the high gian settings on the amp. He cranks it to the high gain mode turns up the saturation and then uses a telecaster to demo it, FAIL...

Aravis pubs and clubs it should be fine any bigger i would get the head and body.
Jeff Beck uses 15 watt fender pro juniors all the time. And he ain't playing bars 🤣

surely you shouldn't have to use a bright switch with a strat or tele, something not right there

I think it does carry its own load when you use it silently to record. One of its best features!
I am owner of this head, it sounds very good but it has a big drawback the send return is unusable because it is terribly noisy
That sounds odd.. Maybe a ground connection in the loop?
