Very nice! Finally someone who plays the melody nót as the flat following up of the eightnotes texture, but as a Valse like song accompanied with a gentle innervoice. As a consequense the music getting her natural tempo too. Wonderful, as all these other Sor jewels here!
The first classical guitar piece I learned to play from cover to cover. A fellow friend of mine taught me to play it, he took guitar lessons at that time... and I didn't knоw how to read music, learned it by eye and ear. This piece gives a sence of completion in a beginner's mind, you are learning to play it properly and it sounds just right. Not extremely difficult to memorize and play, a charming little tune, which encourages the guitarist to move on with confidence to try more difficult stuff.
@@davidjaggs In order to play really good one should listen first to good (classical) music, to feel and appreciate every single detail and intention behind it, to understand that particular idea which drives the whole thing. This is something fundamental and it is true about every genre of music imaginable. This appreciation and understanding levels up with learning a musical instrument, it's just a great experience. As a self taught guitarist the most important for me was to improvise a music, only for myself, as a part of the learnig process. Again, it was a hell of an experience. I might not gone too far in becoming a skillful guitar player, but now I have only respect to every good musician, dedicating a life to the art of playing music.
I am on this piece now. I´m glad you played it so I know where to go. Congratulation: very clear and precise, not to mention the emotion you put on it. Some guitar players try to reach La Catedral or Chaconne and don´t enjoy the journey. There are many treasures in between, like this one.
Marcio Affonso I made it to lesson 6. Playing classical guitar is a demanding hobby, lot of hours put in every week to stay in practice. At my peak I was probably practicing 25 hours a week while working full time. How goes it with you?
@@marcioaffonso0 Is that now, or 3 years ago, hahaha. Check this out, since leaving that reply to you three years ago, I've developed arthritis and can't play anymore.

Hey, I have played this piece too! But that was several years ago, and I had totally forgotten about it! Now I should definitely refresh my memory... It is a beautiful piece of music. And you play it well too. Thanks!
I'm working on this now....thank you for sharing.....as this is how I would like to play this piece......listening to you again, before I go practice.....its all about that beautiful melody, accompanied by that lovely inner voice. You nailed it!
I'm getting a taste for this piece. After working on Lagrima and La Gran Vals for a while, I need a change otherwise my family will throttle the living daylights out of me! Any suggestions on 'easy just getting into classical guitar' pieces that I could try? Again, your playing is very soothing, thank you.
Do i detect the song Hotel California? Don Felder of the Eagles did write it and I bet he played Op35 #22 many years prior to writing HC. He probably didn't know where he got it from when first writing it.
After practicing this etude for over a month, I can finally say that I'm ready to play it at a summer concert tomorrow.
Fantastic.hope it goes well!
What a fabulous player you are. No histrionics just the music pure and simple. Bravo.
Thanks Noel. 🙏👍
After many months of practicing it I can finally do it justice. I think it's my favourite etude so far.
Hi Dimitris. It's always a great feeling when you master a new piece, congratulations! My favourite is No.14.
Il existe beaucoup d'autres études de Sor et même de Tarrega! Ne soyez pas si sûr de votre morceau préféré!

Love this piece... thanks for sharing
You can find on YT Julian Bream playing it at 80 years old and its just magic...
He's playing it on a Hauser I believe, in his studio at home.
Are the music sheets you sell fingered for both hands?
At last i found out which song,a section of this was reminding me that was disturbing my mind for years;les petite fille de le mer,Vangelis..
😀
Fantastic
Thanks Kopi.
Beautiful sound indeed!
WELLDONE!
Impressive playing..
Love this beautiful piece and you played it so skillfully. Can I ask what level/grade is this piece ?
Hi there.. it's probably grade 5ish. If anyone knows if it's ever been on a syllabus speak now!
Classical Guitar Corner grade 5
Thanks

I hope you are enjoying it. ☺️
@@davidjaggs I sure am i will play it on concert too
Good for you 🙂
This makes me laugh at my own performance :(
But that's partly due to my shitty guitar and not-so-perfect fingernails haha
Great job!

A qué nivel corresponde este estudio de sors? Precioso
Early intermediate I would say. Not too difficult. Maybe less than a year from beginning the guitar?
@davidjaggs muchas gracias
Estudio el libro dos de Rodríguez Arenas, estoy en la mitad y por eso quería saberlo
Very good

What is your guitar? Jean Noël Rohé or not?
Yes.. 2009.
