- Sky News host James Macpherson discusses the failed motion for babies born after a failed abortion to be given some kind of care.
“In Canberra Senator Ralph Babet from the United Australia Party, he moved a motion in the Senate yesterday asking senators to agree with him that babies born alive after a failed abortion should at least be given some kind of comfort,” Mr Macpherson said.
“The Greens and the Labor members voted against that, and four Liberal senators also voted against it.”
A society that doesn't want to protect the most innocent and vulnerable is rotten to the core.

This isn't even a pro-choice vs. pro-life argument. These are living babies now separated from the mother physically and for all intents and purposes the same thing as a premature infant left at an adoption agency. Regardless of whether or not the mother wants it, if it's now born and separate from her and she wants no parental rights to it, then it's up to the government to do what's best. Leaving it to suffer because failing to do so would potentially cast a certain political agenda into a harsh light is a sign of just how corrupt and inhumane these systemic structures truly are.
