I listen to this song regularly. It's the gospel, beautifully, written in song form. I especially love how the music adds to the story, ie the fast pace while he's running towards something; the slow pace when he's in despair. One of the greatest masterpieces I've ever heard.
this is even more amazing once you realize Mattt Smith was at the time the only member of Theocracy...though this one may be the re-release they recorded with the newer members of the band
He did record the first album on his own but this song is featured on their second album They had three members at that time.
I don't listen this song regularly, but whenever I do tears come. It's a very beautiful song.
This was amazing. I have seen you do reactions to several theocracy songs and they have all been impressive. The lead vocalist has one of the best voices in metal. I have definitely become a fan of their music.
This is an underrated and underappreciated masterpiece. The lyrics are as good as the music, which is rare these days. Also, although set to a fantasy theme it rings incredibly true.
