Great video. Most channels completely ignore all of the basics and just assume it is common knowledge. This video would be very useful for a beginner. Great job 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
I love the creativity and hard work that you put into your videos! It inspires me to create my own videos one day. Also, love the new name. It’s very fitting 🌊
I think i am making a good video then i see your videos and confirm i am just a hobbiest 😂😂😂. Your videos are always solid, informative, and high quality. Stay Rad Sir.
Awesome vid as always! Glad to see you back at it, and it feels awesome having a refresher course on all the parts and setup. Big piece of advice I remember learning the hard way, if you're gonna swap parts you don't have to swap them all at once. Just getting new bushings or just getting new wheels might change the feel a lot.
Well explained and solid info. In regards to RKP and TKP and it's orientation on the board I always like to tell people that no matter what style of truck the Pivot Cups (where the hanger and baseplate meat) always face towards the ends of the deck.
@@concrete-waves Lol, the result of explaining it 5 times a day at least for the past 10 years... You guys killed it on this video though for real. Keep it up.
How tight should kingpin nuts be? I've heard that front trucks should be a bit looser than the rear, but that's about it. Is this just a thing you just get a feel for, or is there a rule of thumb for it? Being a complete beginner, I don't know what "tight" or "loose" feel like.

Thanks for watching neil! It's something I wish I had when first starting
Great video! A bit about deck dimensions, wheel wells, flares and cutouts might have been nice for beginners, but this is very thorough already.
Ahhh great point! I'll add a section about wheel wells & flares to the website article. Thank you!
Great stuff, love the details and all the work you put in. Awesome.
Thanks man! Appreciate that

Thanks for watching! That's great advice. I totally agree that wheels & bushings alone can significantly change the feel

Thanks! That is a much better way to explain rkp and tkp orientation 🙏 Haven’t heard it phrased like that

The new name is cool and all I mean I get it, ya know surf skates = concrete waves. But shred shack was a better name imo
i appreciate the feedback Noah! Thanks for sticking around
I actually love the name concrete waves actually.
Dif folks dif strokes
If you are a beginner dont worry about washer or bushing shapes. Get out there and ride
True, good advice. It definitely took me a while to start experimenting with them
I thought you were gonna give away the Tan Tien, what happened?
You're right I totally said that and I will. Just getting the channel rolling again and at some point I'll set a giveaway up, including the Tan Tien
