hunter is 100% right about the subbed/dubbed thing, the voice acting in anime is top notch and the english dubbed is just wild. (ex. midoriya from my hero academia)
I can’t stand to watch dubbed anime. It loses so much of the incredible Japanese voice acting. I know it’s iconic, but I don’t like the English dub of both DBZ and Naruto. They have lots of star power sure, but I just prefer the original JVA. I also don’t mind reading subtitles, I love understanding character dialogue
It's an english american problem, the voice actors are not great, or direction idk. I know french and always try to get french dub over sub cause they're super good in comparison.

HunterxHunter has a great dub, some dubs are actually pretty good. I watch subbed anime, but not all dubs are god awful.
