They say that you should never meet your heroes, but Charles does whatever he wants.
I should have known this was coming, given all the other comments, and yet it still got me when I read the end XD
Charles is like that your friend who just wanted to have some fun for shit and giggles despite being popular figure/celebrity. He radiates that energy.

With 5 seconds of audio is nuts. I could mentally keep track of where i am if he played a whole lap for me but definitely not pick out a particular corner from 5 seconds of audio
I think it will be a lot harder with old layout and extra chicanes
if you think about it, he knows how long the gears are, so he has a sense of which gear is used, then its all "muscle memory" like people who play driving games a lot probably can play a whole lap without lookin at the screen because they know the turns and gear shifts. Still impressive but also part of his job :)
This man's sheer brain power and physical ability (his Monaco quali has got to be in the top 5 best performances on that track of all time) makes me so sad that he has so much misfortune, whether with PUs or his strategists. He deserves better.
