The elevator was made of glass, people walking by looking at us and continued with their day like there was nothing wrong. we got out when a lady walked by and helped us out. She had seen us from a distance. No one was picking up the emergency call button, which was a little concerning... :)

Maybe next time bring a extendable and lockable metal stick or something so that if you do get stuck you can reach up and get the interlock to release and open the door

Well the solution to an elevator with no inner doors is to have sensors that stops the elevator if something is in the sensors way. This is to keep from getting their fingers stuck between the car and the floors. In this video, this stop mechanism confused the elevator and made it stuck. But it's better getting stuck then losing your fingers ;D

The elevator could not move. Meaning that people with disability's had to wait for someone to close the inner door. Not having a inner door made it much easier. Now we have automatically closing and opening inner doors so this is no longer a problem.

Yes the alarm worked fine. But the lift started to move again after 10 minutes even before the elevator technician came by
