I totally get your point on patience .... I mean sometimes I start a project thinking it'd be easy and relaxing but it turns to be the total opposite and I end up spending much more time than I intended on it......your tote bag turned out quite pretty though, totally worth the time and effort :)

Normally, fabric paints are used to paint but I settled with acrylic since it is what I have. It didn’t bleed since I placed a white coat as base. And you should dry the paint first before washing.

Hello! I think okay naman to answer your question. For me kase eh Inuuna ko yung sketch before the base para alam ko na yung shape nung base ko, if ever nacocover na yung sketch, I can visualize now my reference because of the shape. Then magssketch ulit ako sa base pero hindi na masyadong umeeffect yung pencil. Just find nalang what you are comfortable with. Just wait until it dries up before you start painting another portion para hindi messy. I hope it helps 🥰

Thank you! yes! The painted area became stiff especially that I used a lot of paint

I didn't spray any protective coat in this one but the paint didn't mess up after I washed it

Is it safe to iron on the painted area?
I suggest that you flip it inside out to be sure or you can put a thin cloth above it so you won't be ironing it directly

If you want to, you can wash it before painting. As long as you use acrylic, the paint will stay even if you wash it after the paint is dried.

No, google says poster paints are washable so basically it wont stick to your tote bag when washed.
