- Join Matt & Pete as they discuss the hiring of Mike Denbrock as Notre Dame's offensive coordinator to replace Gerad Parker. How does this impact the Irish for next season and what will this mean for Marcus Freeman's staff.

Like to see a nice extension for Al Golden ASAP!!!
Not going to happen. No way they will compete with NFL money. But Mickens wouldn’t be a bad replacement.
A big Merry Christmas to Irish Nation! Great hire in Denbrock. Excited for 2024, let's gooooo!
Ha that beginning was awesome. Merry Christmas to you both.
Denbrock was also the OC in 2015! That team had the talent to win a title; however, their DC was a dufus.
Scrooge here. Who was the OC at ND in 2016?
@@michaelkelley9096Sanford had more playcalling duties, they still put up points but 2016 definitely wasn’t on Denbrock. Stop complaining about the best candidate they could’ve got. BE HAPPY FOR ONCE☘️
@@jonahkuchowicz6488 but complaining is what I do best. If I can’t complain, do I even exist?
@@michaelkelley9096Merry Christmas dude
ND will not have a LSU offense.
Christmas Came Early! Merry Christmas fellow Irish fans
Great show- really good hire- pieces coming together.. Results? We’ll see….put aside the LSU fans trying to throw cold water on this hire ( U don’t have the athletes etc).. for LSU this is really embarrassing for Kelly/AD, Board for not locking this down- our Board not meeting til Feb-what??? LSU saved ND millions not having to pay the large buyout if they had gotten DB signed
@CheckDownCharlie-yf8lucope harder buddy
Haha that was great. Merry Christmas guys.
Merry Christmas, Brian Kelly.
@CheckDownCharlie-yf8luwe don’t care about that shit, go back to LSU content and cope
Good show guys
The Big D is coming home. Deuce Knight or Carr are gonna be the next Heisman for ND, LFG!!
Go Irish!
Do you believe that the recently named successors to Father Jenkins and Jack Swarbrick played a role in the hiring of Mike Denbrock?
Did Texas A&M have anything to do with ND getting Denbrock? I know they were trying to get him, everything stopped with LSU contract, then boom, we get him!
year 3 of marcus freeman could be special like past championship coaches
The same LSU fans coping about “ND not having the personnel” prolly never travelled north of the Mason Dixon their whole lives 😂🤧🤧🤧
Forgetting his "success" at lsu, but I can't help but wonder I'd MD was best choice. What I mean is that part of bks issue at ND was hiring from a pool he was comfortable with (thinking bvg) and it appears that freeman is doing the same. Even the a&m offer seemed to be attached to "good Ole boy network". The thought that swirls in my head is "doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results". I supported the Irish pre Faust, and will always cheer for the irish but do have the thought that the effort in finding best man for the job is lacking (jury is still out on freeman, lol)
Its not necessarily bad to hire the guys your comfortable with as long as they are good coaches. So far its worked out pretty well for him outside of the stuckey hire
@@guineapigclips5205Exactly!! You hire coaches that you can trust Listen Brian Kelly for all his shortcomings Hired Mike to help Kelly in his first 2 years at LSU speaks volumes and look what happened! LSU offense was at the top of offensive rankings that's not a fluke but it does get you closer to where you want to be with CJ Carr and Deuce Knight being at the ready in 2025 and onward 👍🏼
Alright! Guys with hair like me!
10 regular season wins next year. At least.
Want hv a Jayden Daniels good luck
Totally agree about MD’s rationale for leaving LSU now. I doubt BK is there in 3yrs. Heck if he contributes to NC win for ND. He could be HC at LSU!😂 in the future
BK will have 10 wins in his 1st 2 years at LSU. You must not watch football
@@calvinchauvin78😂😂👍🏼
@CheckDownCharlie-yf8lu he'll have two top 5 QBs in CJ Carr & Deuce Knight plus a 5star WR in Cam Williams, a top 5 RB in J. Love and another top 3 RB in Kedren Young to work with. Pretty sure he's going to do fine with all that talent
@CheckDownCharlie-yf8lu and like I said, that isn't actually true in reality no matter how much you want to claim it is. Try looking up Deuce Knight before making an ass of yourself
@CheckDownCharlie-yf8lu if anything, Denbrock left knowing that he had better talent available at ND. CJ Carr and Deuce Knight > Nussmeier who has a 50% completion rate againts backups in garbage time and AJ Swann from Vanderbilt. LSU only has the 22nd ranked QB in their class this year lmao
These LSU fans wanna talk about “talent” like that Cincy team Dembrock coached wouldn’t have crushed any LSU team in the post Burrow era. COPE HARDER 😂
Thats not true but you can keep coping....
Bottom line is notre dame will not get the necessary athletics to win a national championship anytime soon Go tigers 🐯
Ur mad baud 😂😂😂 lsu is coming anywhere near a chip ☠️☠️
@@christopherclarkjr.8845 Notre Dame is the 3rd best team from the Midwest behind Ohio State and Michigan but if they get an elite quarterback maybe they’ll have a chance at a championship
😂😂😂my mother drop me on my head?? 😂
Wingnut😂
LSU done messed up/ look like fools
Ur boy Matt on AFR manned up admitting LSU blew it
U should join in his honesty
U lost a guy U didn’t want to lose
U should quiet down- LSU had the Heisman winner & still lost 3 games.. not a resume for U to be engaging in personal insults- hope most Tiger fans aren’t engaging in Ad hominems - unsolicited advice for U/ admit LSU blew this/ can’t win ‘em all
I’m sure down deep you’re happy for Irish fans😎
the fact that you watch local LSU shows how rent free they are in your head
Denbrock was already at ND twice and didnt have the success he had at LSU. LSU has the athletes. The next OC at LSU will have his dream job.
Facts
You say this as you’re playing with our RB that knew he wasn’t beating Estime out for RB1 😂
Diggs left because he knew he'd be behind Estime, Price.. Love as well? These LSU fans are HILARIOUS. 😁👍🏼☘️@@mattd8670
We’ll see. ND is looking a little different athletically
Cope harder Calvin
Notre Dame ....lets be honest..you don't have the QB or wideouts that LSU has. I don't think this makes you a playoff contender just because he left LSU.
😂😂😂🎉 ☘️
Totally agree
@@CianAngelo lol I know you’ll are over the moon right now..But I think what’s lost in the success is so much of it was Jayden just being so damn good..elusive & precise. Malik and BJ are a nightmare match up for any DB. I’m not saying Denbrock isn’t a great playcaller…but I’d pump the breaks a tad bit. We were taking a significant step back even if he stayed. But Congratulations!! 😎
Look at what he did at ASU
@@TIger4life33 I just think the cope from some LSU fans has been a bit ridiculous, referencing talent, when the reason ND hasn't been better offensively was directly related to the TALENT that BK recruited while HC at ND. Freeman's young talent is phenomenal, just waiting to get them all out on the field for this Freeman Era Irish.. Denbrock will be key in their development and I look forward to not screaming at the television over play calling every Saturday. I apologize for being sophomoric with my earlier comment, I thought it may be not worth it to give an actual response here. You seem grounded and respectful, good luck to your LSU Tigers in their OC search and.. Well, you shouldn't need any luck Vs Wisconsin in the bowl game, lol. Merry Christmas, friend!
Irish will never have the talent as LSU!! Good look coach brock and never winning’s championship and get your money up bud.
