Very nice. The Danish and Norwegian Royal Families are of the same origin: the House of Glucksborg.
The nowegian royal family also a Danish, King haakon vii was Danish prince by birth
Sonderburg - Glücksburg in Schleswig - Holstein
Enjoy, To the Royals 💯
I really like the Norwegian Royal Family
How do they understand each other? In what language do they speak? Are danish and norwich in some way similar?
When they speak their own languages its said they able to understand each other
Danish, swedish and norwegian
@@muhammadasruni8992 Thanks, just like portuguese and spanish, although the portuguese tend to understand the spaniards, but the other way round doesn´t allways work!
Both of these languages are similar to Swedish so they can all converse in #borg #borg #borg
Both Danish and Swedish evolved from Old Norse, so all three languages are very similar, especially the written language.
I would also venture to guess they (the royals in all three countries) learn all three languages, and converse in the language of the country they are visiting.
Europeans are multi-linguists, and they would know English amongst other European languages.
Приємно, що норвежці поважають свою королівську родину.
Riding in a 1939 Buick Roadmaster. What is the history of that car?
It was a gift from General Motors when Crown Prince Olav was on an official visit to the USA.
During WWII it was hidden in a barn in rural Norway.
In 1945, this car drove King Haakon back to the Royal Palace after 5 years in exile.
That is either a 65 or 66 Lincoln Continental
Kong Olav loved the Buicks. CP Harald loved that Lincoln. Now he's Kong Conti.
14:19 @ruralorreal9568 13:31 Olav was an actor in "Star Trek" With a royal actor from Sweden - Royal Actors👑 14:18

1:03:30 why didn't HM King Frederik raise his hands in salute, but lowered his hat? the requirement is to wear a military uniform to raise his hands in salute🙏🩵
Did you notice the wierd look King Harald gave him when he did that? Like, what the hell are you doing.
In my opinion, it was probably because he was too lazy to hold his hand up. He did the same in Sweden. But King Frederik has always been sloppy with these things, often forgetting to salute. His father, Prince Henrik, was the same. His brother, Prince Joachim, is always correct though.
Technically, it's the same thing. Originally, up until the early or mid 1800s, it was the custom to remove your hat. It still is, if you for example wear a top hat, you salute by taking your hat off. Then, it started in the navy, and later spread to the army as well. They thought it was too much hassle, on and off with your hat every time you walked past an officer, so they made an exception. You only needed to bring your hand up to the hat. That is basically the origin of the military salute.
A strange developement happened in the early 1900s. If you look at those who served in the military before world war one. Kaiser Wilhelm II of Germany, King George V of the UK, King Haakon VII of Norway, King Gustaf V of Sweden. You can find many old videos of them. They all salute with a loose fist. Meanwhile. The next generation, with King George VI of the UK, King Olav V of Norway, King Gustaf VI Adolf of Sweden, they all saluted with a flat palm. In most of Europe and America. it is always palm down. In the UK, France and their colonies, it is palm down in the navy, but palm up in the army.
BTW. When you are not wearing a hat, you salute by bowing your head.
Schaluppen:)
The Crown princess look so uncomfortable!
Que mala gusto tiene la princesa de Noruega para vestirse, no tiene asesor se imagen en la corte?...
Never thought much of The Norge compared to The Dannebrog seems a rather plain and boring vessel.
All the medals, For what?
Yes, right. they need to hold real jobs, not living of taxpayers monies
The Royals exchange the medals to each other, often for attending each other's Royal functions where they eat variations of rød pølse or variations of flambéed chicken. The serving sizes are often small. They earn medals for eating each other's insubstantial Royal meals.
Jealous are we ?? It shows
@@michaell.9253GROSS exaggeration for someone whose well jealous
@@AquaFonic why would I be jealous? There are soldiers who fight and get killed ,these bunch of tax sucking bastards WILL NEVER FIGHT so why the medals. Are they like you arsehole?
