He is actually left-handed and prefers to play that way. But being the total genius that he is he learned to play right-handed since it made it easier to play at jam sessions and gigs where other drummers had right-handed drum sets. He is now able to play both ways, but I think for some years now he plays usually left-handed drums. Mindblowing isn't it? It's amazing how everyone who comes to participate in Hermeto's groups develop mindblowing musicality
