Wicked IMO is GL at his absolute pinnacle. The second LM album is amazing too. the solo to Cold is the Heart off the second LM album is worth another listen if it's been a while. like you said the grunge train came rolling through town and took out the metal scene for a while if not forever. GL, Warren, Vito, Jake were my hands down heros of the genre great vid thank you
Jamie…excellent work my brother…btw…I have an original ‘84 Kramer Pacer and the neck is indeed made by ESP…its a beast of a guitar at 38 yrs old…rock on my man👍
Jamie, really interesting thought in the intro melody voicing! I was never happy with the thin sound I was getting using the G & B strings, and no amount of distortion could cure the slightly anaemic tone I was getting. Using the D&G string voicing seems to match it allot better 👍🏻 Now to retrain myself to play it that way after god knows how many years doing it the old tab way lol Also like the tapped bit leading into the “Out back to where the dust grows old” part 🤘🏻
Thanks Phillips.. I'm a strong believer in if it works for you a certain way there play it that way. I think this way works well, it was hard to see how George played it live as it changes from video to video and he never plays it the same as the track haha.. Thanks for the positive comment, this makes thing worth while for me.. cheers!!
I have a HUGE confession to make.. being such an EVH nerd I just gravitated to those cabs in the pack and have NOT used the "Mars" cab.. thanks for pointing that out.. Maybe I'll look at some more Lynch soon, and use that cab.. thanks again.
Thank you, Jamie! Glad to see you're doing well. Following your tutorials since VH Lick Library times. You are awesome sensei! What do you think about Lynch Mob's Rain lesson?
the base platform for the ESP tigerburst or kamikaze was kramer, kramer did the oversized soloist body with the reverse headstock they are barely on the market few of my friends has the original 1985 kramer GL models, later on ESP bought the rights and platform from kramer
So what other riffs would you guys like me to cover in the Quick Riff series? I enjoy pulling out gems such as this riff!
Great video Jamie! Thanks for sharing!
Let's have some ACDC!! Can't beat ACDC for great simple riffs!!
@@Producelikeapro I think that needs to happen!!
Hi Jamie - what about covering something from John Sykes -Blue Murder ??? ,please .
@@richb6291 I'll look into this!! I do quite a few videos on Produce Like A Pro with Tony Franklin of Blue Murder 🤟🏻

Sounds awesome - clean and professional. I would be curious to know what kind of pickups and signal chain you are using.
Thanks.. if you got to around 5 mins I discuss guitar, pickups, amp, IR’s, signal chain.. everything I used.thanks for watching.
Also, with the 2 notes Lynch cabs, I’m pretty sure the one called “Mars” is the primary one that he used for Lynch Mob
I have a HUGE confession to make.. being such an EVH nerd I just gravitated to those cabs in the pack and have NOT used the "Mars" cab.. thanks for pointing that out.. Maybe I'll look at some more Lynch soon, and use that cab.. thanks again.
Great lesson Jamie. Have a question: did you make any modification on the Kramer? (volume pot, hardware, etc...) Cheers.
Thank you. No the Kramer is unmodified. It’s a great guitar!
Thank you, Jamie! Glad to see you're doing well. Following your tutorials since VH Lick Library times. You are awesome sensei! What do you think about Lynch Mob's Rain lesson?
Thanks Arthur!! Yes that could be something I could look at in the future.
I see the Mesa here also. 😁🤟
The best amps😊
Some Shawn Lane analysis would be amazing:
Not sure I could pull that off but I’ll add that suggestion to the list!!

I just tried to click the link and Malwarebytes stopped the site from loading. Not sure why.

Lynch best execution was mr scary, especially within double bass foundation. Single speed pedal really is very noticeable, no comparison.
Proper guitar for the genre! Who needs more knobs and pickups?
Yeah the 84 is a great guitar
