Mulligans has been there since I first went there in 1995. Glad to see it’s still busy. PDE looks so quiet compared to the old days. Probably for the best though.
We stayed in the Akeah Broncemar and got back 23rd November, it was a lovely stay. We had a few drinks in the Kasbah in a big Irish pub which we enjoyed but the Kasbah has definitely seen better days.
It was a bit wild and dangerous late at night back in the late 90s. The whole area around the Kasbah was very dodgy. Glad to see it’s not like that anymore. 👍
It will be interesting to see more of Gran Canaria. Went to Puerto Mogan years ago when there was just the hotel and apartments at the side of the marina. It will have changed by now! Also before then had a timeshare in Puerto del Ingles in a lovely area.
Kevin if you go to Puerto Rico I highly recommend happy valley Indian and planet steakhouse , lovely food in both , also the €2 pints of San Miguel at sun spot go down a treat
There wasn't much open when we went 2021, just coming out of COVID, spent most nights in Mulligans. Only one other bar open and the young crowd monopolised that.
PDI has gone so far downhill since Covid, which is a pity as the Buenaventura is one of my favorite hotels and the beach is lovely. Seems that Maspalomas and the area around the Lighthouse is busier and more upmarket now. The Yumbo is just dirty and increasingly run down. Much prefer Tenerife or Lanzarote now.
Only thing Irish about O’Neills is its name - went to watch Celtic game last week and was on one tiny screen - Mulligans catered for all games - that’s an Irish pub and staff are amazing
Been looking on website To me it looks nice but for same money much better value studios elsewhere in complex. All have balconies so you can relax in the fresh air

Glad to hear your still alive after the jabs.
COVID jabs no problem, twice a year no side effects, never had COVID. I just got cancer instead.
@@Tenerifelover cancer is one of the side effects

It seems that there are loads of Irish bars in the Canary Islands. Or maybe just the names are Irish 😊
