Thanks for the video , do you have any CV boot ripping issues after the lift kit? did you have to do any other modifications to get 285/75/16 fit without any rubbing issues?
before I had a problem with my CV once. after converting to polyurethane CV. until now without problems. I had to put on a 30mm wheel spacers. I have a suspension lift kit from Old Man Emu Ome and 40mm strut spacers.
If any of you are having CV boot tearing issues I think I may have the answer. I had the issue and went through 4 brand new CV joints in less than 4 months only when I looked at the item codes did I realise they were all from the same production line 1 after the other and it turned out to be a manufacturing fault in all of the cvs made at that time in the same factory. Needless to say I'm all good now but check yours.
I had CV boots ripping every few months before as well. 2" lift from OME. I think it was because poor quality of material used, some of them where cracking right after fitment. I was paying for oem but was getting low price/quality replacements in Mitsubishi garage! Went online to buy genuine, as for now, no problems.
Hi Rob, Are the wheels standard shogun 16 inch rims? or a custom brand? I want to get 33 inch in mine but prefer to start small , so I was thinking get a 2 inch coil spacers and 33 inch tyres with 16 inch standard rims ( currently got 18 inch), then later on invest on a OME lift kit. Does that sound like a good plan or do you have any advice from you experience. I assume it would need too much work to get 35 inch tyres to fit in it?
rims are original mitsubishi 16inch.current size is 285/75/16 tire MT ko2 BFG. if you are thinking about OME in the future, please hold off on spending money on springs spacers. Fitting 35inch tires sure takes more work.
@@4Roboo Thanks, I will need some kind of lift to fit 33 inch before OME won't I? I was hoping to get 33 inch wheels in first and then get the OME kit down the line.
Rob C Hi Rob, just wanted to ask 285 s not too wide for factory 7" rims? How tyres wear off? I looked it up and for those Tyers the recommended rims from 7.5" Thanks
Hi, Greetings from Brazil! I have the same car, how did you manage to fit those tires in the front? My Pajero is fitted with a 2 inch lift kit, and 275/70r17 BFgoodrich at tires, they rub on the front bumper when in reverse
Provavelmente vai ter que trocar ou cortar o parachoque, na minha eu troquei e coube os 32 com 2 ṕolegadas de lift. Dá pra ver bem nos meus vídeo se quiser dar uma olhada
Great video great angles too best Pajero Video I've seen love these cars.
Thank you very much 🥰
You chose good music for this.
Thank you
Good looking rig. Any problems with alignment after lift spring + strut spacer combo?
Thanks. No problem with alignment, gently to align but no problem.

@@4Roboo I am a little confused. So you have both OME 2.36" and 40mm strut spacers? Is that then a 100mm lift ?
I have lift kit 2" from OME and 40mm strut spacers.

Lovely shogun did you have any problems with the 40mm spacers before you got your lift kit or not
There were no problems, but I used them about 4 months after that the old original suspension was not comfortable and I decided to buy OME.
Where did you get the spacers from if you don’t mind me asking
I bought the whole set from ebay front and rear
Hello, how are your cv axles life span after the lift?
What lift kit you using

It does
