When I breastfed my daughter,nonstop mastitis, turns out I had an Infected tooth,that was draining into breast tissue.Pulled that tooth ASAP,never had another problem, and had 3 more babies.
Has Cara had any postpartum blood work done? Anemia can be an issue with recurrent mastitis. My pediatrician always encouraged us to stay at home as much as possible until baby is 3 months old- protecting baby until their immune system is more mature, and also more rest for Mom. I know it’s difficult with lots of littles, but maybe you need to slow down a bit- your body is telling you something! 🥰💐
Our daughter accidentally called 911 when she was about 3 or 4 yrs old. My husband didn't realize that was what she dialed and grabbed the phone and hung up the phone. The 911 operator called right back to make sure everything was ok.
Literally my baby cousin called 911 when he was 1 years old and police showed up to the house saying that someone called and I’m asking everyone in the house who called? I looked down and he still had the phone in his hand.. the police stayed outside for about a hour after that lol
I'm proud of you guys that you take your nightly drive to have safe mommy and daddy RR time. Your making it all work and you rocking it. Proud to watch your growth.
You could be having urinary tract infection. I'm 8 weeks postpartum and I was shaking from fever at 3 weeks postpartum. It turned out to be urinary tract infection. I used the prescribed medicines for a couple of days and it went away. I recommend checking your blood for that

I had continuous breast infections with my fourth child , not good . But when my fifth baby came I had a super midwife/lactation consultant who encouraged me to hop in the shower every time after a feed and express breast till were soft as I had heaps of milk . Not one breast infection. Was stocked . By the time baby was four months I relaxed and all good. Feel for you tiredness doesn’t help. Take care 🌺

UGH... I'm so sorry that you're dealing with another bought of Mastitis Cara. I know it's so painful! Is it possible that Asher could have a lip tie or a tongue tie? The Drs missed it on my grandson!! He had both!! He couldn't latch on properly & it causes cracked nipples & mastitis in my daughter-in-law. Once those were taken care of, she had no more issues 😍 The lactation specialist found the tongue tie & my son found the lip tie. Blessings to y'all`
With your super busy household, mastitis may be problematic if u try tackling too much 2 soon. Be kind & gentle to yourself with more resting time provided. Perhaps u could get some extra help for now & also have naptimes with Asher as u regain your strength. Moms oft times try 2 get back into their regular routines asap but our bodies need a bit more TLC. Subsequently breast infections can be a signal 2 slow down. You are a wonderful Mom & wife. Relax & enjoy this special time with your little ones & be kind 2 yourself. For sure Darik & his family will assist u so your mastitis troubles will finally disappear.

I used to buy these in BULK at Costco when my daughter was little. I would sit with her when she drew on a wall, and after about 2x she didn't draw on the wall again. FYI...they work well on beds too. LOL
When I was a kid, my mom would hand us a sponge and the 409 bottle to wipe off all our hands prints everywhere 🤪As a parent of 3 boys and 1 girl, I used the magic eraser. My oldest used to draw on walls, himself, his backpack, his arm, his sister’s back. He owns a beautiful tattoo gallery in Sacramento, California, called the Midnight Gallery! That is so sweet. It reminds me of years gone bye. I have 8 siblings and when we traveled 🧳 we had a VW bus . My parents turned the seats ( now a days it’s illegal,) around and put a full-size mattress into the space, with clean sheets and blankets and pillows. The ages were twins , 10 years old, 8 years old, 6 1/2 years old, 5 years old, 4 years old, three years old, and twins 6 weeks old, and mom was already pregnant with her 3rd set of twins both of my parents wanted a large family. We always had a hot lunch. My dad would buy a large pot roast potatoes 🥔, carrots 🥕 and onions 🧅 wrap it all in heavy foil and placed it all on the engine block, close the hood and by lunch( 6-8 hours) we had a hot meal. After lunch and running around to blow of steam we all piled back into the VW bus for a long nap 💤 and by dinner time we arrived at the Hotel, had dinner , went for a swim and then bedtime and a story.
Cara your hair is so pretty. The hi lights look so good on you. The little ladies and their wigs just made my day. The fat rolls on Ashers neck. That liquid gold is definitely doing its job on him. Healthy baby boy. They are all such beautiful children. Enjoy them each moment of everyday. They grow up so fast and will be gone before you know it. My three sons have families of their own now. I have found that Ajax powders & windex works very good on cleaning crayon & marker off the walls. I have used the magic erasers before & they never do anything. It’s like using a plain sponge with nothing on it.
The magic eraser does clean about anything, because it is abrasive. If you look at your wall at an angle with the lights shining on them you will see the scratches.
Consistent pressure on the breast tissue can block milk flow, leading to plugged ducts. See if you can associate. Are you sleeping on one side or on your stomach? Do you carry a heavy purse or bag on one side, or the baby in a front carrier or sling? Do you wear an underwire bra that presses in one area? Are you wearing any type of bra that does not fit well? Do you wear a sleep bra that stays pushed up or to the side for much of the time at night? Are you wearing constrictive clothes? These can cause blocked ducts, which in turn, causes the recurring mastitis.
Having 5 kids under 5 it’s like impossible to keep them from coloring on the wall. Even with one kid I’m finding crayons just everywhere. It’s because they roll 😂
So sorry Cara mastitis is the worst. I had it 19 times between my three kids. The only thing that got me through was antibiotics, sleep, warm baths and a heating pad. Hopefully you are able to get some rest!
I always kept matchbox cars in my pocketbook for waiting in a restaurant, doctors offices, etc. I also would give them to other moms when their child was in public and upset.
