    Just that little clip “why is this happening to me….remember it happened to Jesus”….I teared up. So often we we forget Jesus has already been through it when we go through hard times. Great reminder, thanks!

    Thank you for being so transparent and raw. I have a hard time when things don’t go as planned. I feel like I’m the only one with this struggle. So I appreciate it.

    Being real and open about the school year not starting out like you wanted it to is such an encouragement to all us other homeschoolers who sometimes feel that exact same way! Thank you so much for your honesty, you have no idea how much it helps 😍

    girl I literally love this channel. Literally so inspiring. You are part of the reason I have faith in myself to homeschool my babies if the Lord blesses me with babies

    My family loves CrossFit! My 13 and 15 year old girls do it with my husband and I. It has been great for their confidence levels and I love that the focus is on fitness not body image/types.

    I wish we could have a virtual bible study with you over a zoom group. What a dream that would be. You are so inspiring and knowledgeable.

    Thank you for this video. I’m encouraged to get moving forward and reminded that life will happen and may affect how we homeschool.

    I am reading Becoming Elisabeth Elliot as well! Different than other missionary biographies with all the journal & letter quotes but really interesting so far. And portions of it are so challenging & convicting. Hope you are enjoying it as well!

    I love that you got those sweats a few weeks ago, but they still have the tags, because (I’m guessing) you wanted them to be fresh for camping. How else to feel cozy camping than fresh new sweats 😍

    I love Shane and Shane psalms album! Our worship leaders at church have done the Psalm 34. It’s my favorite! They are Jeremy and Jeremy. They could rival Shane and Shane. I’ve just started a sourdough. It’s been fun to work with daily. It’s my new pet. 😊

    If you were 40, nursed 3 babies, needed some padding and push-up, would these bralettes be a good option? 😂 They are so cute

    • @GraceandGrit
      @GraceandGrit  2 ปีที่แล้ว +28

      Hahah absolutely! Because I’m almost 40, have nursed 4 babies, lost 80 lbs and love them! They don’t push up, like vava voom- because ouch. But they hold comfortably where they should be!

    • @evawojcik2962

    Not sure if you've heard of Farmhouse on Boone....she has a youtube channel and blog and tons of sourdough recipes. She has like 7 young kids so all her stuff is super simple and no fuss.

    I have a question- is the Answers book the same as the small individual Answers for kids books?

    I watched the video where you mentioned your heart but can’t remember exactly what you said about it…. I’ve struggled with PVC & PAC for the last 10 years off & on….it took quite some time for Dr’s to figure out what was going on, but unfortunately there isn’t really as fix… they say it’s just an annoyance more than anything. I would go into tachycardia for prolonged periods of time (130-200+ just sitting there) & sometimes I’d just wake up with a high heart rate. Triggers are definitely caffeine, being stressed, being sick or tired and dehydration … but honestly the main issue is with my electrolytes… i drink a small glass every morning & that prevents my heart rate from getting to high. Not sure if any of that will be of any help to you, but in case it could be, I wanted to share! Feel free to contact me if you have any questions!

    What was the name of the book you were reading from the Bible? It sounded like exactly what I have been looking for. Thank you so much.

    I wanted to ask about the Bible books you talked about previously. I think you used them in your bible time. They seemed to be geared for elementary/middle school grades. It might have been something like 'what does the Bible say about...' do you remember what books those were? I'm really interested in something like that for my kiddos. Thanks Ashlee! 😊

    When one of your kids are sick and don’t do their work do you have them to make it up or just skip it?

    • @GraceandGrit
      @GraceandGrit  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I have the sick kid skip and the others work because eventually it will be their turn

    Which Bible curriculum do you use ? And would you recommend it for younger grades ?

    • @GraceandGrit
      @GraceandGrit  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No curriculum just a collection of books and most importantly the actual Bible.

    I watched a sermon by Gene Kim called "Keep it simple, stupid" that was such a blessing because I do get overwhelmed and tired at times. it is on youtube if you wanted to check it out. God bless you.
