The square “oven glove” is called a potholder and you can either use it to take things out of the oven or you can set it on the counter then put a hot pot or pan on top and it protects the counter
To reiterate, it doubles as an oven mitt and a trivet (hot pot/pan coaster). As a trivet, you can also place it on your dining table when you want to serve your dishes straight from the pan. :)
Dream big because you've created a wonderland of you own , when I see new flats / houses they look awesome but they don't look like homes instantly but this is a warm , charming, character full home. So excited for you . Stay safe stay well x
I've never understood rugs under dining tables, because it might look nice, but surely it would get dirty from any food falling on it and be much harder to clean then just a wooden floor?

Freddie, not hating but to be honest, I believe the problem in the bathroom are those wall tiles. I think they’re a bit dated and don’t go with the vibe of the rest of the decor. I know it’s too late and too expensive to re-tile but they could be spray painted with tile paint :( The apartment is looking amazing and I’m looking forward to a full tour when it’s totally furnished. Ugh I agree! I LOVE her home and all of her design choices but the bathroom tile looks so… grubby? It’s so dated and doesn’t fit in with her home or even embody the beauty that SHE is. It’s like the tile is brining down her and everything she’s created. I hope she agrees :(

I'm seriously about to write an essay. You being so excited about the carpet made me so happy; I am also a carpet lover. It really does just make everything so cozy. I loved the Swan chair and (maybe this is the video) but I think the current fabric looks really beautiful in the lounge. The swan overall is so beautiful though. The bathroom will work itself out; everything else has : D. This apartment is becoming more and more of a dream and I cannot wait to see how amazing it will look when furnished! Freddie: as a general rule, gilded plates, stemware, etc., should be hand washed. Dishwasher detergents often are too abrasive and will etch and remove any gilding. That applies to your flatware as well. Sorry!!

Love the brass fixtures. An electrician taught me you’re supposed to make all the screws going in the same direction, either vertical or horizontal, not in every direction. I like horizontal.

The only question I have is about the silver knobs on the bathroom vanity? Have you decided to keep some silver accents in the bathrooms? Not that it looks bad at all, but I was surprised they weren't brass or golden! The gold details in laduree room really made a huge difference too! Ah I had so many comments throughout the video that I wanted to share but I forget now! It all just looks so lovely! And I think you should keep the gold on the fireplace, good choice! Dust the gold on just the fancy bits of the fire place like you did in the bedroom. That would tie the solid gold bit in better and then the knob on the railing put a gold one there 🥰

Just a thought … consider moving your couch up toward your TV, creating a walkway between it and your wall. If you have enough space, you can add a couch table. Then move some furniture up around it. You can add a pretty rug in the middle. It will make your living room so homey. Add some throws and pillows. It creates a little cozy area just for that and allows for other little areas in the room. Your flat looks amazing :) So original. The oven mitt goes with the square glove. Some dishes are a lot heavier so you will need two gloves :) It gives more moveability. Another name for it is potholder. The utensils look very nice in gold :) I myself like the spiral whisk much more. The white vase would also look very nice with the gold touch maybe?

One more opinion? Re bathroom...I would consider painting all the trim a shade of cream. It may not be the same used elsewhere. The point is to create a contrast to make everything pop! Plus, in a bathroom, some white or cream freshens it up!
I've been thinking of what to say in my comment one thing is Freddy I watch lots of vlogs where people decorate their houses and to me you are in a different class your decor and styling are just gorgeous I seriously think you could do this for a living using all the colours and textures etc that you love! I think you will be so happy in your flat and I know the lounge is not finished, but it's seriously delicious that's the sort of words I want to use. I think on a cold and rainy day when you come home the flat will be like the softest pink, creamy gold cloud that will wrap it's arms around you. (That's why I don't make comments often because it sounds silly maybe, but still it is how I feel).
Just a thought for your fireplace, what about a subtle pale pink tinted wide bevelled mirror all around the fireplace? A mirror company would have to cut and fit though. A magnetic door catch for your dressing room to keep the door open, it would save the carpet getting scuffed.? The trim paint in the bathroom, a) a pure marble white and the window frame or b) hold your breath- opalescent glaze over- paint that would pick up on the white, and pink in a very subtle way?! Bathroom window-A pull cord (with a big fat white tassel and cord!) floor to ceiling white velvet curtain closing to the left?! Only suggestions as your flat looks really lovely already!!! You have great taste!

A tip i found helpful if you still want to colour match your vanity and bathroom is, next time, once you have a colour matched. Paint a bit on some paper let it dry then check with the door. Hopefully it saves you some time and back and forth. 😉🥰
The square oven glove is used the same way as the glove. So for lids, oven racks or dishes. Fun fact these are the most common in Sweden. I've used the glove versions maybe a handful of times.

Your flat looks amazing :) So original. The oven mitt goes with the square glove. Some dishes are a lot heavier so you will need two gloves :) It gives more moveability. Another name for it is potholder. The utensils look very nice in gold :) I myself like the spiral whisk much more. The white vase would also look very nice with the gold touch maybe?

@@FreddyMyLove so sad that it is silver ...idea... look up the formula for how many inches above your table it needs to be hung...then remember if your eye says it is perfect w out following the formula... break the rule lol. ...could u modify it by painting it gold or ordering it gold and letting the bottom row of glass feathers be taken off?

One more opinion? Re bathroom...I would consider painting all the trim a shade of cream. It may not be the same used elsewhere. The point is to create a contrast to make everything pop! Plus, in a bathroom, some white or cream freshens it up!
I've been thinking of what to say in my comment one thing is Freddy I watch lots of vlogs where people decorate their houses and to me you are in a different class your decor and styling are just gorgeous I seriously think you could do this for a living using all the colours and textures etc that you love! I think you will be so happy in your flat and I know the lounge is not finished, but it's seriously delicious that's the sort of words I want to use. I think on a cold and rainy day when you come home the flat will be like the softest pink, creamy gold cloud that will wrap it's arms around you. (That's why I don't make comments often because it sounds silly maybe, but still it is how I feel).
Just a thought for your fireplace, what about a subtle pale pink tinted wide bevelled mirror all around the fireplace? A mirror company would have to cut and fit though. A magnetic door catch for your dressing room to keep the door open, it would save the carpet getting scuffed.? The trim paint in the bathroom, a) a pure marble white and the window frame or b) hold your breath- opalescent glaze over- paint that would pick up on the white, and pink in a very subtle way?! Bathroom window-A pull cord (with a big fat white tassel and cord!) floor to ceiling white velvet curtain closing to the left?! Only suggestions as your flat looks really lovely already!!! You have great taste!
The new colour matched paint for the bathroom should only need to have white added to make it half or quarter strength...

A tip i found helpful if you still want to colour match your vanity and bathroom is, next time, once you have a colour matched. Paint a bit on some paper let it dry then check with the door. Hopefully it saves you some time and back and forth. 😉🥰

The square oven glove is used the same way as the glove. So for lids, oven racks or dishes.
Fun fact these are the most common in Sweden. I've used the glove versions maybe a handful of times.
