We are all missing out on one most important and major factor which is BJP'S money power. The amount of money they gathered from electoral bond, PM cares fund, etc. So of the BJP wins less than 200 only then opposition has any chance or else BJP will buy out MPs to come to power simple. The Supreme Court although declared that electoral bond is unconstitutional and illegal but they allowed BJP to keep 8000 crore with themselves and not to return it to the people who gave these bribes and also male the investigative agencies to investigate in detail on cash for contract issues.

But the way he is only talking about BJP's seat share it appears close resemblance to a spokesperson. Parakala Pravakar has predicted maximum 4 in Telegana,1 in Andhra, 0 in both Kerala & Tamilnadu and a loss of 10-15 seats in Karnataka; he has also predicted minimum loss of 50 seats in cowbelt.
But prediction is prediction,we have to wait till early hours of 5th June.

The more dangerous thing that has happened is that a whole generation of youth have been groomed into elitist mode of thinking - on how to live a grand life, but without working hard. As someone who have been interacting with young people in the engineering sector for the last couple of decades, this erosion of values will be very difficult to fix with any simple remedy like what you suggested.
