Yeah...this is sick and twisted. I told my boyfriend, at the time, out right, I didn't want him to marry me just because I was pregnant. I told him he was free to go or stay, but if he stayed I wanted him to never regret or resent the choice. I told him he could be as involved as he wanted to be if he left, that I could manage on my own by going back home to my parents. He said "forever" and it's been nearly 11 years and we now have two kids.

I was 24 when I found out I was pregnant. If I had gone home I would not have been living off my parents. I would have needed to stay with them for a time, but I would have been under their roof no more than 5 months.
