The governor shouldn't be a push over for anybody,the law says states clearly that those members who defected have automatically loose their sit, as for the local government chairman's once the tenor has expired they don't have a right to ask for extension of even extra one month or six months, here the Delta state the local government chairman's tenor expired last month and they handed over to the DPM and HPM to act as chairmen pending when the next LGA election will hold on July 13 2024. Those ex lawmakers should stop heating up the politics in that state and let INEC conduct fresh elections in those affected areas.
