@@xinjiezhang4847 Same, I don't know what happened when Akuma & Gouken finally fought at the end of the film??! But, I have read the story of SF on various sites and sadly, it seems that Akuma defeated Gouken but at the last second, Gouken used the power of nothingness to save his soul.. Don't know much after that! Reference Link: streetfighter.fandom.com/wiki/Gouken
love this! passionate fans more often than not do a much better job with moving IP forward than corporations that shell out countless millions. megaman for instance.. keep going guys, you have a lot of fans behind you!
I absolutely love what you guys are doing. Very much like Mortal Kombat Legacy, you are trying to demonstrate a cinematic product that the fans can be proud of, I absolutely praise you for your hard work and dedication to this beautiful project. I do wish that you had some kind of advertised kickstarter or program by which the fans could support you. that way you wouldn't have to front all of the finances yourself. but mad props to you for all that you have done thus far, keep up the great work
These people have passion for what they're doing, they deserve admiration and support. This is easily going to be the best Street Fighter live-action thing ever produced but you can see they want it to be perfect. I bid you good luck! :)
I remember see SF Legacy 2010 , from the date , I read every interview , Hearing all the Podcast from Joey . Then after 3 years waiting , the Kickstrater campaign starts but it goes not well , and i think on no ! it is not gone happen , and now see this Video you finally filming after such a Long time it is just AWESOME !THANK YOU GUYS
I absolutely love this incredibly well made series. It's like you guys took these great games and made them a reality. You actually feel like you are going on an incredible journey with all the characters, Goken, Ryu, Ken and Akuma. Some of the best all time great story telling I have ever seen and I really hope it continues on for years to come. I was already a fan of Akuma's from the games and you guys really brought so much depth to his character. Made a villain with a sense of honour, knowing he is going down a very dark and dangerous path, he's dedicated himself to doing what he has to do to become the best figher he can be. I've watched this great series and movie a few nice times now. I love it every single time I see it and I truly hope there's more to come.
I never had any doubts about your project you guys, just hopes that would work out well but after watching this video and see i you guys are preparing for the series i'm convinced you would rock at it!!! great video, looking forward to the series!
Wait, the writers can fight, the director can fight... imagine a guy walking into the set "I wanna fight your strongest member!" Guys go like "Yeah, you don't seem much, here, choose between the light technician or the coffee lady, they can fight too and probably will kick your ass" hahaha
I was blown away by this series. What the producer said is really true--this is a level of authenticity to the original Japanese video games that true fans all know and that Hollywood has never gotten right before. I wish the SF:AF team could make a full-blown theatrical feature film with this amazing cast, in the exact same, perfect style that balances both English and Japanese dialogue and keeps all the character fighting styles.
I am beyond hyped for this!! So glad you all are doing what you can to return this acclaimed story and video game back too it's roots!! The story seems on point and as a fellow Street Fighter fan and martial artist, you all are doing something that is a blessing to us all!! Thank you!! DJ New Spirit
I see that long hair Alpha Ken! haha. Chris is literally the most spot on ken there can be. It's an honor to have someone put so much time and dedication into this attention to detail. im very excited for this.
I'm sure you guys have heard this a hundred times but... Thank you for making this series. I've loved SF since the day I played the arcade version of SF2 came out, not a huge anime fan but I've seen every SF anime movie/series I've ever been able to discover exists, and the live action SF movie failed, never even watched Legend of Chun Li, preview said fail to me too, but you all seem to be dedicated and passionate to doing it right. Once again, thank you, I can't wait to enjoy this show.
I'm really excited to watch your hard work on the big screen. I'm a HUGE fan of Akuma and all the history in Ryu/Ken fighting style. I wish sucess and good luck to all people involved in this project! The video is pretty good actually.
1:54-2:23 looking at Mike and Christian together, especially with that brofist at the end, it's like really looking at an actual Ryu and Ken doing an interview for the 2nd World Warrior Tournament. I'm so happy that this is finally happening, an actual live-action Street Fighter that is extremely faithful to the games. Best of luck to you guys. OSU!!!
This was so wicked! I just bought the steel jacket limited edition blu ray set! You guys HAVE to keep this up! Blows the other two real life street fighter movies out of the water!
Wow, thank you guys for this. This is why I wanted to see, a Street Fighter movie made by fans and not people who just want to make money by using the Street Fighter material. I wish you the best and I can't wait to see this fully made.
This looks like it will be really interesting, its nice to see that its been developed by people who are passionate about it and are familiarized with the source material. good luck on this project!
I'm glad u guys are making it a show and not a movie. This can be a game changer for the genre. And I' think it will be. U guys are awesome Big fan of u guys and keep up the good work!
Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist was the proof that true to source and entertaining movies based on fighting games CAN be made and they can actually be super awesome while doing it.
Great movie watched it yesterday! Rented from my local video shop :))) Can't wait for the next one!! I'm sure they will get way more financing too!! :)
Watching this again because TH-cam told me to. -shrug- Mike's expression 180 degrees change the moment Chris mentioned Bromance. Never gets old. I am SO CERTAIN something awkward must have happened just before. xD
Shows the movie industry is dead when you get masterpiece movies like this created on a tight budget with full control and is now crying out for a follow up but of course this would need more money but Hollywood would just run their zombie models to see if it makes enough profit and they would most likely have more control than the initial creators. Hope a billionaire SF fan can provide the guys n girls with the money they need to create more of this. Well done
Wow! After seeing Mike Moh beef up like that to play Ryu, I feel that it is compulsory for me to tank up in the gym in order to cosplay Ryu for next Halloween. Anyhow, I can't wait to see this! The end soundtrack gave me goosebumps. Keep up the awesome updates!
Holy cow! This is looking supremely awesome guys! congratulations! keep up the terrific work! Ken is my fav character so I'm looking forward to this. By the way, is Christian letting his hair grow again? I think it needs to be longer just like legacy video :) Good luck guys!
Prep work looks good. Very interesting about what Jacky Quella said; if you can toe the line between staying authentic to the origins and development of the SF mythology, characters and world while also grounding the non-fight scenes in the 'real world' (Basically what Batman Begins did?) That would be tremendous! On a side note... I don't know if Chris reminds me more of Jean Claude Van Damme or Tom Cruise :/
I have watched Mortal Kombat Legacy on youtube, and I was wishing someone would put together a Street Fighter series with the same passion and quality. It seems they maybe about to pull it off if not exceed it.
Everyone be sure to share this on your facebook pages and all the other places. I'm so excited to see this. I have a lot of faith in the guys. #doingthingstherightway
Who is here after seeing the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood trailer? Seeing Mike Moh (Ryu) play Bruce Lee is probably the closest we get to see him play Fei-Long. Can't wait to see the movie. Hoping to see him play Ryu again.
Is this going to be for television or youtube? Can't wait for this, so glad you guys have got this going and are going to keep this faithful to the source material.
geez, that is insane how much he looks like Ken....would be nice to see him pack on a lil more weight and muscle but it doesn't matter cause he already looks good....can't wait to see the series - Ken Masters fan right here, all the way
The greatest of luck to all of you. I've been a huge fan of Street Fighter competitively since the days of 1991 onward (though retired from that part now) however I've always been a huge fan of the Canon Storyline of SF. As always I'm skeptical however it looks like you people ARE going down the right path. I'm really hoping that this CAN be the Street Fighter Live Action we've always wanted. "Already Seeking the Next Challenge, Ceremony Means Nothing to Him, the Fight Is All" Ryu SF2 Ending
Man I can't fuckin wait... mainly the Akuma segments because people often ignored SF Alpha Generations anime. To me, that was just mainly focused on Akumas background but I'm curious how well they can make it better.
Well that's great. I'm glad they are taking more of the series route. Like how Akuma is buff one second, then super mega hulk sized for a few seconds LOL
Happy 10 year anniversary, Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist. Even after a decade, you still remain the greatest video game adaptation ever made.
the best SF movie i've ever watched until now... great job guys.
Yeah and I’m still waiting the big fight from gouken vs Akuma

im super excited for you guys, i must've watched your original short 50 times and showed all my friends. can't wait for the new one!

I hope this will be successful. I want to see these guys to go on and accomplish all their dreams regarding this project.

Yeah i was wondering that myself. That was John Foo, he was in that Tekken movie a while back. I thought him and the guy who played Ken were spot on.
I will say this. If they stay true it will be awesome. Can't wait to see this.
watched this and mk legacy, both are amazing and a must watch to anyone who played these games growing up (or still do in my case)
Rock on guys, i'm psyched :D
Well that's great.
I'm glad they are taking more of the series route. Like how Akuma is buff one second, then super mega hulk sized for a few seconds LOL
I am so pumped for this!!!

Can't wait either you guys!!
Agreed, I knew I wasn't the only one who thought that
