Let Go is a strangely beautiful but heart-wrenching song (was released when they were considering disbanding). Also Jin just shines in Japanese songs. I mean, all the members do but Jin is a different level

This is the first time I’ve watched this song live since before Jin’s enlistment, and boy, that really got me in my feels. Of course, the context behind this song was a bit different, during a time of great turmoil in their careers and relationship, when they were considering disbanding and the thought of the upcoming military service was definitely not at the forefront of their current concerns. But where they are now, with Jin already in the army and JHope on his way, seeing all of the boys reach out to Jin while he was beautifully singing that line was such a punch in the gut. Thank you for your reaction💜 I miss Jin every day, but this really brought me both some pain and some comfort, once again being reminded that while I’m hurt, I’m not alone with this feeling. I loved this song for a long time but this song just popped up while I was watching their songs on TH-cam at the exact same time when Jin had enlisted and he was ready to go in 2 days.... That Jin's part in the song broke me like anything, all his struggles and jokes came in flash... I was trying to be strong but BTS shaped my personality, how can I not cry... Army Forever 💜💜💜

Thank you for your reaction. Beautiful song by the best vocal line ever and songs like this hit so much harder because we know that the remaining six will follow Jin into the military. But take heart! Jin has already done more than 100 days, we will pray that he will remain safe and well and that we will have our Moon back in a little more than a year. We only let them go so that they can do what they need to do. Their performance of ON in New York's Grand Central Station is great to react to - a rousing display from the guys.
Have you seen Love Myself or Crystal Snow live yet? If not I'd recommend those 2. When you watch Crystal Snow live, look for the version that cuts to Jin's fancam for his triple high note. They miss it in the regular video (you can still hear it) It's awesome. Love Myself is just such a sweet & beautiful song. Love your reactions 💜

4:10 Oh no, he figured us out! 😂 But seriously though, Let Go is from the time they thought of disbanding (if you haven't watched their acceptance speech from MAMA 2018 you need to. It's iconic but heartbreaking.) and it's believed to be meant as a farewell to ARMY. They didn't actually write this one themselves but it must've been so strange for them to perform it with that on their minds. It's like if you watch them perform For Youth on Mnet knowing that they knew that would be their last performance together at least for a long while and ARMY didn't yet. Their expressions make so much sense in hindsight. 😭

Ahhh mannn I'd forgotten whether you'd reacted to this or not. I was just watching this on you tube and thought OMG Luke needs to react to this because Jins vocals are out of this world! So I looked through and lo and behold you already have reacted! Jins live vocals always blow me away. His performances are unwavering, his voice is so strong, I rarely hear his voice crack or go out of key. He's amazing. The whole song is beautiful and they all perform it so well but Jin really stands out for me.

I figure right now a good Jin-related story (and since Jimin just released a song about being fearless) is when Jimin was getting d**** ☠ threats before the Fort Worth show so Jin spent the day dressed exactly like him so whoever was sending the threats would get confused. Whether it worked or not, he knew it would make him feel better.🥺
I think that’s what makes BTS so loved is because we see how much they love each other and is the fans. By the way, this song was supposed to be a sort of temporary farewell to us as they had planned then to enlist already. But, Dynamite blew up the charts resulting in more promotions and then, the pandemic hit, so, they postponed their enlistments to now. 💜
Songs like this weren't written with military in mind but I know exactly what you mean when you say that it feels like they've been preparing us for it.... I never thought I could get this attached to a boy group but I've been a fan since 2017 and for myself and all of ARMY we saw military as the end of their career... obviously now we know that isn't true at all but now that we've begun enlistments... old songs like this are such a comfort. I always look back at their older music, remind myself of their messages and think to myself... which other group can deliver messages like this? Nobody but BTS.
listening to this song brings me to tears especially today because Hybe just posted a letter about Hobi's enlistment, my heart just broke. I'm gonna miss my sunshine so bad😭😭😭😭 our moon (seokjin) is already in the military, and now our sunshine? I don't think I'll be able to handle it well when all of them have to go😭😭😭😭 I MISS MY SEVEN SO MUCH!
I've always loved this song and recently I dedicated it to a friendship that just isn't the same anymore. We're not on bad terms or anything, life just kinda got in the way and now we don't talk like we used to. I know that people sometimes just come in and out of your life but I miss this person a lot.

Ok this song kills me. One of my 'personal' songs. I played this and Epiphany on repeat when I finally left an abusive relationship a few years ago. The lyrics of both songs are so poignant, on point, and so powerful. The contrast of letting go despite the pain, and the I am worthy of love and why did I lose myself etc. So perfectly summed up how I was feeling.

Songs like this weren't written with military in mind but I know exactly what you mean when you say that it feels like they've been preparing us for it.... I never thought I could get this attached to a boy group but I've been a fan since 2017 and for myself and all of ARMY we saw military as the end of their career... obviously now we know that isn't true at all but now that we've begun enlistments... old songs like this are such a comfort. I always look back at their older music, remind myself of their messages and think to myself... which other group can deliver messages like this? Nobody but BTS.
listening to this song brings me to tears especially today because Hybe just posted a letter about Hobi's enlistment, my heart just broke. I'm gonna miss my sunshine so bad😭😭😭😭 our moon (seokjin) is already in the military, and now our sunshine? I don't think I'll be able to handle it well when all of them have to go😭😭😭😭 I MISS MY SEVEN SO MUCH!

This is one of my all time favorites. Its a heartbreaking song, but it's so beautiful.
I've always loved this song and recently I dedicated it to a friendship that just isn't the same anymore. We're not on bad terms or anything, life just kinda got in the way and now we don't talk like we used to. I know that people sometimes just come in and out of your life but I miss this person a lot.
What amazing to them is that their voice are still stable can still hit a high note while moving agressively for the choreo they are really exceptional they're so amazing performers

Ok this song kills me. One of my 'personal' songs. I played this and Epiphany on repeat when I finally left an abusive relationship a few years ago. The lyrics of both songs are so poignant, on point, and so powerful. The contrast of letting go despite the pain, and the I am worthy of love and why did I lose myself etc. So perfectly summed up how I was feeling.
